This seems interesting though the fact that it's a new(?) studio has me a bit worried. Hope this turns out to be good

Well it's definently a seinen since the manga version will be running in Young Jump. Other than that nothing. Probably an action series though.

Looks like something along the line of Durarara or K. Hopefully more like the former than the latter.

The artwork and color palette kinda reminds me of Free! (especially the guy in the center of the pic). I don't know about the premise, so I at least try one episode.

My very first thought when I looked at the picture of the guy with the headphones was "he's voiced by Oosaka" - and I was right. It seems fun, count me in.

Stop blaming Kishi for cutting content from the stories. You should blame scriptwriters and producers for that not the director. He chooses how to make it and not what to include in every ep.

The director has final say in a lot of things, and Kishi isn't exactly known for making great decisions...

Really?Because I always thought that the director does choose what to include in every episode, especially in anime industry where virtually everything falls on directors back.

But the producers choose how many eps would it be, how much of the strory would be adapted and in what direction it would be changed.

What I'm saying is: it's stupid to blame director because series was rushed or some parts cut or animation were bad. Sometimes he has an authority to ban the fancervice or add more but it's more like exceptions. This things is not for him to choose.

Though producers set out how many episodes will be created, they dont determine how much of story will be adapted and in which direction it will go.Those aspects are under control of director,it is true that producers can tell director to insert certain elements into the story(like homosexual undertones,so the show would sell better),but they dont certainly control have the level of control like you make it out to be.Not to mention some producers let directors do what ever the heck they want.

Blaming director for animation is stupid ,however a good director can take limited animation and present in such way so that you really dont notice the lack of good animation. For example CG used in Black Rock Shooter was crap, but because people completely followed Hiroyuki Imaishis storyboards it still seemed like it was great.

Even if I go along with that, I've barely liked how Kishi has made anything, it always looks bland as hell.

I liked Jinrui but that's it, so I'm going with low expectations until proven otherwise.
