Next episode is going to be awesome for fans of C.C. including myself. She already looks smoking from just her picture in the knightmare, and we can finally see her skills as a pilot, maybe using the Geass to improve them like Rolo did.

I haven't seen the episode yet but from whatever I've read, it only proves that she is important to him (as a friend).

I am sure there is a reason they have been focusing on Kallen so much until now... because she will probably take on a smaller role later on with C.C. in the lead role.

Nope. Taniguchi said she is critical to the plot and that her role has not even begun. She's going to get more screentime, not less.

Geass is just one aspect of the plot out of many.

And if Lelouch's Geass goes ou of control, that would probably be a reason the rescue operation would fail. I suppose he would be angry with C.C. about that then.

Because that happening would be her fault in some ways. And he would be upset about Kallen and likely take it out on her.

Geass is the most important aspect of many.
And it's good if he will be angry with C.C.( but he won't, because he understands that its not her fault), because there is only one step from love to hate, from hate to love.
And if he would be angry with Kallen, you'd say that this just proves that Kallen is LI.

Isn't it a Kallen fault in first place for being captured? There was no need for her to rush. Now Lelouch have to worry about her well-being. Why not to take out it on her? But, taking it out on Kallen would just again prove that Kallen is LI, isn't that so?
