Also, if anyone cares, the part 1 of chapter 3 (Volume 5) is up. Since every part of the chapter is as big as an actual chapter before I thought it might be a note worthy for those who are interested.
Yes I know that Vertiful still hasn't finished chapter 2 but you see chapter 1 and chapter 2 is barely connected just like chapter 2 and chapter 3. In other words chapter 2 is mostly a side story about Tabitha and Kirche rather than having anything to do with an actual story (well this whole volume is mostly side stories with maybe an exception of chapter 3). Well anyways, go read the translation at B-T as usual. |

It is pretty far away, but I just hope it doesn't get delayed a year like all of those other novels...

As I understood it, there was no delays for the novels. Its just that Seven Sea's decided to wait a year before launching everything, and when they did, they wanted to get rid of the 3-4 book series first and then the following year, open with all the long book series (such as Zero no Tsukaima, Kanokon, Gun Princess, Next Door Ninja)
Can't wait for December. Hopefully translations should be at vol. 12 by december. -Matt |

Matt's overly optimistic. Yes there seems to be new translators willing to work however we still have to see them doing anything but declaring that they will do, so it is not that reliable.
ArchmageXin seems to be bit inactive lately (considering taht he likes to post up every minor update at the translation and does not upload big text in one go it is safe to assume that he was/is busy with something else) and serenade is currently taking a break from it. So all and all the only really active translator is...me. Which isn't much, yet I think that we can end the volume 8 by the December if everything goes right. |

And no, we will not stop translating. NEVER! However.....our translated version of vol. 1 will dissapear magically from the site, to never be seen again...... -Matt |

Dude, considering that they are having NO LISCENSING issues, not printing issues, and no distribution issues.
And considering that their first series' (Ballad of a Shinigami, Strawberry Panic, Pita-Ten) have all come out on schedule with no delays. There is no reason to believe Seven Seas wont deliver when they say they will. -Matt |

Gun Princess has been delayed again and again, even past a year.

matt I would suggest you to check your sources again as Seven seas are far from being a reliable one. The cancel their own projects and they do tend to make a rather long delay (like Ballad of a Shinigami) with their releases.
So do not be so optimistic about them, most probably by the December 2009 there will be three volumes at best. |
