Second episode was great, some have speculated that some how he had help with the knives thing probably from that other guy, He acted like he threw them but made them invisible and his partner that guy shown at the end actually threw them. I laughed a bit when I she got the juice stuff on her. the scene is rife for some photo shopping, and/or being used out of context.

ugh i didnt think it was possible but i feel the 2nd episode was worse than the 1st one. The series so far just does nothing for me i cant get excited about the fighting or anything else for that matter are they going to kill off a big powerful bad guy every episode? However, i will must give it the benefit of the doubt since its only the 2nd episode. I give anime 5 episode before i consider dropping them.

I have too say that the short kid is annoying, I mean if he is the main main character of the anime then the anime is a complete blunder. I mean the Priest now he is awesome, and the copy cat girl what was her name I forgot, she is hot and I beg too god that she wont fall for that immature cowardly brat of a "main" character.

Why im being so indenial about him being or possibility being the center of the anime is, because he is the type I hate, cowards, weak, always needs too be saved, and a brat.

But he isn't your usual cowardly, weak or spineless kid.

While he does get scared and fear for his life, in such a situation when faced with a force he cannot hope to beat being a mere human, it is only natural for him to feel scared (unless he isn't normal...in the head).

But when it came down to when it matters, it was him who helped Eve win the battle against the magician boy and he even did his part by jumping right into the illusion which, even knowing it was a fake, should still be pretty damn scary.

Even so it still doesnt change the fact he is worthless atm, okei so he managed too figure out that the magician was using Illusion´s, it still doesnt change the fact if Eve wasent there he would still be cowardly lol, so basically its thanks too Eve he had his moment and actually proved useful for 1 minute.

Won't evolving to needless be a downgrade from worthless? He's ok for now, he's not annoying at the very least; like some supposedly useful main characters have been in other series.

Well, one should appreciate that the author at least tried to create a character who isn't "yet another 'ESPer'". He might only have been useful for one minute, but it was the minute that turned things around, which has to be worth something.

An enjoyable series so far. Good action scenes, insane characters, fanservice...check, check and check.

Cruz...well he may seem like a weak character, but when you face on of the four people responsible for killing your 400+ comrades in one blow it's only natural to be scared. Even if so, he did his best to help out Eve in his own way. Adam and Eve do the fighting, he can just be the backline supporter, be the 'brain' of the team, or be the personal errand boy for Adam and Eve...see, there's a purpose for everyone

Didn't expect a fight against one of Simeon's Four Fulers of Heaven in the second episode already though...compared to Kafka in ep1 it seems like quite a big jump forward. But then again, he was probably the weakest of them all...rest of the Heaven Rulers should be able to deal with things by themselves using some powerful ability.

Seems like fire-using guy from OP and Saten are up next..should be fun.

This could quite possibly be my surprise hit for this season, as I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I am now. Watched the first two episodes many times, and I have my initial thoughts and reactions for my first episode my initial thoughts and reactions for the first episode here. I'll get the second episode up by tomorrow maybe.

Anyone know how long this series is going to be?

I think you're undercutting just how useful he was. If it wasn't for Cruz being there, then I'm confident Eve would have never picked up on Utan's trick, and thus would have ended up dead. That too can be considered being worthless you know.

Honestly I'm just watching for Eve and the hope that the ED isn't going to be a complete tease...Eh the rest I kinda glaze over unless someone starts going all screen distortingly hot-blooded.
