In the manga, I got the impression that the nuns dressed him (since Frau quite literally left him in their hands, and they squirreled him away into the bathhouse), but with the slight changes the anime made, it really does seem to be a mystery..

The more I try to imagine how a typical shirt would be put on when you're handcuffed like that, the more impossible it seems to be! Like wandering-dreamer said, maybe with buttons.. but yes the sleeves would need buttons too..

I guess this is one of those things we're not supposed to think about.

And yeah, I don't think anyone is able to take the 'cuffs and shackles off, but they do come off later..~

Perhaps that scene was deemed to have been too hetero for the anime...

^ Well, Frau did want to join him, although his reason was for a more perverted reason involving the nuns, XD.

Also, in episode 3, I was just a little peeved that we got to hear all the other Black Hawks' voices except Kuroyuri's >_<. All I got to hear was a sleepy sound (which sounded rather cute, tbh).

I wanna hear his voice since it'll help in determining a concrete gender for me.

Uh, the anime isn't BL. So far it's more like Saiyuki. Frau has a porn stash. So if that scene could have been put in, it prob would.

Saiyuki had girl fighters in it. 2 IIRC and the goddess. The main cast included male fighters with the opposing team composed of mostly male fighters and some female fighters. I haven't seen ep. 3 but this is a similar setup to 07 Ghost.

Female fighters? I haven't read every single volume, but I don't remember any females fighting, and I definitely don't remember seeing any females in Aya's group.

Stories don't usually go somewhere until around 5 episodes in. Just wait, the story will be going somewhere in the next episode or 2.

Possibly, I only remember a few nuns and Razette, and they don't seem like fighters to me. Of course there's also Castor's puppets, but I don't think they really count.

Castor holding up the bowl with the eyes in it was funny. Maybe Im missing something but if the church accepts everyone, why hasnt the chains around Teito been removed yet?

The only one that comes to mind is Castor, but they look different ages. I have a feeling once I find out I'm going to kick myself for not realising it sooner. D:

I've forgotten a lot of things from the earlier chapters, but I do remember something about the chains needing a special key to be removed. At least I think they were talking about the chains, it is possible I'm thinking of something else entirely, looks like I'll have to re-read that part.

I thought I remembered a similar thing about the chains but really, isn't District 7 in a town that must have at least ONE locksmith? They haven't even tried to get the chains off, probably worried about the damage Tetio would cause without them...
Anyway, I was disappointed that episode three was simply a buildup episode, I was really hoping that they would be getting to the next big fight since that's when the series starts to make sense. And I felt like Studio Deen just threw in the fight between Tetio and Frau because they could, I don't remember seeing that one in the manga.

man, this show is great and all, but whats with all these guy x guy scenes, and lack of main character girls.. I don't think this show was meant for guys.

Hehe, you make me wanna spoil you. But since this is a anime thread, spoilers are not really welcomed

As for the chain thing, I don't really remember why they weren't removed right away, in the technical sense. The practical use for those shackles is obviously the fan service that they cause

And I'm pretty sure about the later, because there is one more interesting thing coming up..But I won't say more

As for the demographic, I'd say it has both elements of a shojo and a shonen. The introduction chapters are more shojo based though, but it gets more tangled out later on. I won't deny the bl hints though, since it can't really be helped. Old habits die hard, and the creators of this serie started out with doing yaoi/shounen ai naruto dj's

07 Ghost is so ewhat known for being "bi" - gender-bending the line between shoujo and shounen manga. Call it metrosexual.
