I like animes that are "educational", too bad it's just too excessive that it often affects the plot already... The details about of gun development and characteristics is amazing. Can't stop watching!

I think you mean Episode 2.

From what I saw, it seems like the Assault Rifles decided to capture the flag instead of popping the Battle Rifles' balloons, figuring that it'd be easier to tie up the defending oneesama-tachi rather than fighting them.

If you're talking about Sig vs G3, she first fires at G3 from the roof; G3 gets into cover, but at the same time Sig is relocating, and so she doesn't get a clear shot at the balloon.

M14 tries to hit M16's balloon, but her beserk button's been tripped and so she hotbloodedly fires away on full auto and doesn't hit anything.

You know, sometimes while watching this show, i start to think, "There's a lot less fanservice in here than I expected. I'm not even sure this qualifies as ecchi." And then we get a shot of Sako's fingers dripping wet.

I certainly wasn't expecting that in the middle of a battle scene.

I know it's a gun show, but the way Ichiroku scolding Eru really wastes time and it's annoying. I'll wait for the next episode only to find Eru forgiving Ichiroku (I already read that part in the manga, but Ichiroku forgot to say a typical scold-then-forgive quote to Eru, "I'm really sorry, so I'll forgive you").

That's partly due to Ichiroku having a Kansai background. And who says she's to blame? For all we know, L most likely didn't keep her end of the bargain to help her out by getting the needed notes.

It's not uncommon to have a foreigner like her to speak in a specific Japanese accent.

I kinda missed the WWII arc in my history studies, but England and USA are good friends.

I was wondering if there was any gun related point in that scene, considering all fanservice is more or less related to gun type. Like underwear and such. However I couldn't find any.
Still as I said before its made by Xebec and they have a share of mindless ecchi in some/most of their shows.
