I think he need his own weapon. The Sword is part of The Warrior and can't rely on it too much since didn't master it yet so it doesn't counts. Ama no....Tsurugi is more a upgrade for his authorities and it probably will break if used.
If the hero is indeed Baldr then I deeply hope Godou gets his hands on Caliburn, Excalibur, Gram, Colbrande or whatever sword the author wants, he needs one for serious. Heck, Salvatore, Erica, Lily, etc have cool swords... |

Well, not really... A god based on Kira might come into existence, that's all.
And besides, I would imagine these things take time, what with absorbing the essence of the stars and elements... A myth to form and be passed down along the ages. Well after the original figure has passed away...

I guess it depends on how do you guys view my image. If you think that I'm a cute 8-year old girl while I'm actually an 82-year old geezer, the new god will be the 8-year old. Though I think that it has no direct link with time, but rather what you believe and to Whig degree. For example, a god based on me will be created once the one who knew the real me pass away, leaving nothing but the myth. It should be at that time that the god is created. @VH The answer is yes for the 2nd question, IIRC.

The name Heretic Gods comes from when they don't follow the Myths. Which is essentially the only way they can walk on Earth. Though before they can be the Myths and walk on Earth. Usually Heretic Gods are the opposite of their Myths. Such as Verethragna known to be the protector of people yet allowed his Incarnations to run wild before taking them back. If I remember correctly, the Goat made a Town into a target of a Hailstorm of Lighting, and the Raptor with each flap of its wings made Tornadoes.

Well, it's not like he had a choice. Verethragna lost his memory until he gained back most of his forms. Also, the divine beasts were just mindless animals acting with instinct. In any case, the mere presence of a god brings disaster.
I don't know, is dithar asking a more philosophical question about where humans (and their souls) come from, if gods come from humans? In other words, who is the ultimate creator?
