A nice video series I found on Youtube while wandering around SRW OG uploads, a very skilled programmer in Japan apparently made a reprogrammed version of the original SRW OG 2 for the GBA with Axel in his SRW Advance role as the main character of OG 2.

And it's more than just the first chapter; he/she remade the whole game with Axel. (other videos on Youtube) He/she skiped making Youtube videos of a lot of whatever parts of the game don't Axel though. (otherwise there would be way to much to upload)

SRW OE for PSP.

Quote:
Namco Bandai is trying something different with the Super Robot Taisen franchise. Super Robot Taisen OE is a PSP game that’s split into eight parts. You can get the first chapter for 500 yen ($5.30). After that, each chapter is 1,000 yen ($10.60). Altogether, the game is 7,500 yen ($80) in pieces, but you can also get the complete game pack for 6,940 yen ($74). Super Robot Taisen OE will only be released as a downloadable game.

Super Robot Taisen OE’s gameplay is based on Super Robot Taisen Neo (pictured). The graphics are a fusion of 2D and 3D art. Super Robot Taisen OE has 50 different mecha series in the game including: Gurren Lagen, Code Geass, Zoids, Sgt. Frog, Jushin Liger, Go Saurer, Shin Mazinger, Gundam, 08 Ms Squad, Gundam 0080, Gundam Z, Gundam ZZ, G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam 00, Macross F, GoShogun, Dancouga, and Ramune & 40.

Meh, I hope they don't make that standard; DL-only games are hell on people like me who don't have the best 'net connection.

On one hand it is neat to see Zoids and Gundam in the same game. On the other hand it is a DL game. That and what's a keroro?

I'm so hoping one of those 50 is Escaflowne. Been my most wanted series since Z2 added 00, TTGL and Code Geass. It deserves better than relegation to a wonderswan game.

Also Keroro Gunsou being in there is hilarious. Aside from my hope of using Tamama impact on enemies it'd be great to have Freedom Natsumi and Angol Mois just wrecking shit...Due Arimasu.

@Duelgundam2099: Keroro Gunsou is a 300 something kids comedy series featuring a frog alien and his platoons exploits in trying to take over Earth except he's super lazy and a moron that just likes building gunpla and fanboying over Gundam which he thinks is literally the greatest thing ever. Its also absolutely hysterical and trying to describe it further really wouldn't do must justice though imagine George Nakata voicing a frog and you'll sort of get the idea.

Mid-May.

With so many titles in, I wonder if it's going to be more like g-gen. I can't really see how they can mix all those story lines in.

Fuse planets together, amalgamate enemy alliances, combine important events into single levels, make a few series post season, knowing Banpresto as long as they have all the proper settings available it can be done.
