Negima

Anyone know where I can get the whole series of Negima? I tried yesasia.com already, but they don't have all of the DVD's.

Want to buy-Macross Various Anime DVDs & CD OST soundtracks

Hello,
I’m interested in buying the following Macross Anime DVD & CD soundtracks, preferably in brand new / sealed condition.

Macross DYRL “Perfect Edition DVD” by FX
http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...rossMovie1.jpg

Macross Zero “Perfect Collection” 2-DVDs - Episodes 1-5
http://www.animetoyshop.com/jpeg/858.jpg

Macross II: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1 (Animetrax Japan)
http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/...rossiiostf.jpg

Macross II: Original Soundtrack, Volume 2 (Victor Japan)
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...CLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

Macross II: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1 (JVC Records USA)
http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/...aciisoundf.jpg

Macross II: Lovers Again - CD Single – Mika Kaneko (Japan)
http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/...oss2loverf.jpg

I can pay via a verified Paypal account and prefer the package to be sent via Express Mail (EMS), which I will pay for.

If anyone has them for sale otherwise, what are the most reliable online stores / services to buy these DVD/CDs from?

Any info will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Concerning Macross Zero,
Apparently there are at least 4 different Bootleg versions out there:

1. MACROSS ZERO - Perfect Collection Episodes (1-5) (2-DISC EDITION)
http://i10.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/10/09/6d_1_sbl.JPG

2. Macross Zero Completed Episodes (1-5) (1-Disc Edition)
http://i22.ebayimg.com/01/i/07/1d/b2/34_1_b.JPG

2. Macross Zero Completed Episodes (1-5) (1-Disc Edition) - Different cover
http://i24.ebayimg.com/01/i/03/68/d4/39_1_b.JPG

4. Macross Zero (5-Disc Edition)
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/images/M...eroVol1_AC.jpg
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/images/M...eroVol2_AC.jpg
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/images/AC3021-04.jpg

Now I’m very confused!
Which one should I get?

As for Macross DYRL "Perfect Edition", I was told at Macross World forums that there are two versions, the "Perfect Edition by FX" which is supposed to have excellent video/audio quality & perfectly translated English subtitles and the standard Edition not marked by "FX", which is supposed to be of poorer video/audio quality and subs titles.

I download the fan-sub version of Macross DYRL & Zero from torrent and they have excellent Video/Audio & sub quality, but the sub fonts are rather small and not viewable when projected on my 21” TV via TV-Out.

I was after the Perfect Edition by FX, but now I really don’t know which one I should get?

I was also looking for RahXephon CD soundtrack 1 & 2.
Are these two Japanese import CDs or domestic US made CDs?
The reason I ask is because here, they’re labelled as US CDs:
http://www.animecastle.com/pc-87457-...dtrack-01.aspx
http://www.animecastle.com/pc-87465-...dtrack-02.aspx

Where as here, they're mentioned as import Japanese:
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=3433
The price is also quite low ($8.50)

So, how reliable is this place?
http://www.bootlegs.r.us

I ordered Macross II soundtrack from here for 15$, as well as Ninja Scroll OST CD for 15$
http://store.imageanime.com/maciiorsount.html
http://store.imageanime.com/ninjascroll1.html

But I really don't know if they're bootlegs or not?
Really, how could you distinguish if a soundtrack CD is bootleg, I only know of some basic rules / tips of spotting a bootleg DVD, but I was not aware of bootleg CDs!

Macross II CD, Ninja Scroll CD & RahXephon CD 1-2 are all sold under 30$ at http://www.rightstuf.com for 15$ so they could also pass for bootlegs based on the “low price” criteria.

This entire bootleg thing is getting rather tiresome!

Thanks in advance.

Not very, their so called "Import DVDs" section should be renamed to "Illegal Ripoff DVDs".

Also their prices for Import DVDs are high compared to decent on-line shops, so I suggest people should stay away from such sites.
Example, FMA Vol 1 here costs $21. FMA Vol 1 costs $16.61 from DVDPacific

For more details on how to spot bootleg DVDs have a read of The generic "Is this a bootleg" thread

RightStuff is a official U.S. distributor of licensed anime, they sell only legal DVDs and CDs. The cheap prices you saw were a sales promotion.

Very interesting, but how do you distinguish a bootleg Anime OST music CD, like RahXephon CD 1-2, Macross II, etc...

RAHXEPHON Original Soundtracks 1
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=3433

Macross - Complete Soundtrack Set (1984 Japan Anime Film)
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=3862

Macross Plus: Original Soundtrack 1
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=2542

Macross Plus: Original Soundtrack 2
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=2543

Macross II Soundtrack
http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_...oducts_id=2261

The only principle that could apply in this case, would be the “low cost”, but that’s not enough.
So are these Anime soundtrack CDs, bootlegs or not and how could you tell?

www.hlj.com
www.cdjapan.co.jp

There are others... I have the most luck with those two.

@spira: at this point you might try www.cdjapan.co.jp or amazon.co.jp .... I have *terrible* luck with yesasia.com --- even when they say they have it, they often come back six weeks later with a "sorry we don't".

If you're near a Kinokinuya bookshop or japanese import store you might browse there as well.

Myself I figure I'm just waiting it out for an R1 release of Negima in a "perfect collection"

Sorry but the site you linked to is well known for selling illegal ripoffs.

Their so-called "Import" section should be renamed to "Bootlegs". Have a read of The generic "Is this a bootleg" thread for more detail on how to spot them.

Even their "Domestic" DVDs are expensive compared to other on-line shops.
Example. Hale + Guu Vol 1
The site you mentioned $21.99
DVDPacific $17.32

As usual I would recommend DVDPacific. They ship to Jamaica (Internation Shipping), I would recommend trying the International Surface Mail as it's cheap and doesn't take that much longer than Air Mail (I use it all the time and I'm in the U.K.).

Do you mean with English subtitles? If so, then at this point in time only bootlegs would be available (so no asking about them). Other than that, you would have to wait until Geneon announce a release date.

I'm not sure if the Japanese DVDs have been released yet, cdJapan would be the best place to check.

Seems like Vol 1 is on preorder, release date 26th July 2006.

Start your engines. The semi-annual Deepdiscountdvd.com 20% off sale is on! Get the coupon codes from the usual places (not sure if I can post em). Just got my order in. $585 of pain. Ouch.

If the usual sites are sold out (hlj, cdjapan, e2046, animaxis, etc) then ebay is your only friend unless you have someone willing to dive into the alleys of Tokyo's Akihibara district.

Yeah, this doesn't fit fansubbing. By the way, if you're thinking of buying captain Tsubasa thru ebay, verify well that item. A friend of mine lend me the dvds he bought via ebay a couple of years ago, and the subbing was awful, not even mention the quality of the video (heck, my japanese is quite limited, and I would rather hear Tsubasa and the gang speaking and figure out what was happening than to read the subs, even the name of the players changed almost every episode, good thing I knew them). And the dvd set wasn't complete, it only got until ep 44 instead of the whole 52. So be careful and check well the dvd set you choose.

Neither of these are available with english subtitles on DVD legally. Everything you find will be bootlegs of some form. Since you put futbol in the topic, I would assume you are somewhere in europe and Tsuabsa 2002 is available in most european languages in the native language.
