Before I started watching Fairy Tail, I looked at the few promo images and trailers, and usually I saw Gray standing with his armed crossed while showing a bit uninteresting face. I thought he was one of those ''I don't give a damn about anything'' or emo type of character which soon proved otherwise. His arc was one of my favorties and for sheding manly tears he jumped to my favorite list, besides, who doesn't like cool ice atacks that he has?

Other then that he is pretty much the only fanservice for girl watchers/readers =)

I love Gray, he's so cool. The moment where he's saying to Erza: "Do whatever you want!! This is what I chose! I'll do what I want till the end! Cut me down if you want" is fucking epic.

And his ice powers are cool too.

Really do like Gray's character. His arc early was great and really helped you to understand him. Liked his stance against Erza unwilling to give up on that mission no matter what. The loss of his parents and then what happened to Ul really shaped who he is now. Also like his support of Erza and the flashbacks surrounding them.

Feel a bit bad for him with sometimes getting shafted. The loss against Bixlow was just weak and an attempt to remove him so Lucy could have her chance to shine. Should have just given Laxus more lackeys.

It actually ws refreshing to see someone of main cast to lose without having rematch later.

Anyway Gray is a cool and funny character, I like him^^

That's easy, it's a bad habit that his teacher rubbed off on him, ever since his training in the mountains he's been stripping in a split second

more of Gray in the latest episode even though he's not the real Gray. It's interesting to see "him" fighting Lucy and Gemini's comments on how Gray views Lucy as a person.

You should re-watch Gray's arc. Lyon has same habit but not to such extend

No particular reason, the author just felt like including it in his design as a small nod to Rave Master.

His name's Plue.

Mashima makes a lot of references to Rave Master. Besides Plue, the most obvious one is Jellal who looks exactly like Sieg Hart, one of the characters from that series. So far, there doesn't seem to be any significant connection between the two series besides having the same creator.

Well Plue and Etherion being the ultimate magic of doom... If one thinks of Mashima's Rave Master and Fairy Tail happening in the same multiverse, it goes well.
