Code Geass - "Guren"
This song makes my brains go tense, as if someone close to me was going to risk his/ her life while all I can do is sit by and watch. Seriousness and - since it reminds me of the anime itself - excitement at its utmost.

Why do I get a depressing feeling...?

Anyways lets cheer it up
This song does trigger and emotionally HAPPY feeling! I remember when I was watching Shugo Chara I was always so excited to see what was going to happen next and This song had an effect on that feeling
Spoiler for Cheerful Song....To me:

But what the lyrics can make you a bit sad, because you can't be who you want to be. Everyone makes you who you are. All you want to be is normal but you can't...
Oh yes I didn't notice Xtrablu's reply...yeah know what I mean

Here is Kanon's song Love Call from in Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai. I really love it, and it signifies how Keima changed her heart. This was the only video I could find with the actual scene in it, so sorry for the low quality.

I'm sorry, I have forgotten to write my emotions
Well... When I hear this song, I'm think about Ruyji and Taiga's happiness and because of it I run into a melancholy...

Lately I've been listening to a lot of "Magical Happiness" from the Negima soundtrack.

It's a great mix of minor chords and and upbeat rhythm that surprisingly creates a combined feeling.

The upbeat rhythm is insanely catchy, and the minor chord progression is great; it keeps it from being a joyful song, which it wasn't intended to be.

This is one of those songs I keep listening to over and over, along with "Love Hearts" from the Seto no Hanayome soundtrack:

This one is also upbeat, but is also intended to happy as well^^ It's got an almost unforgettable bridge and chorus~

Although "Lost my Pieces" seems to be the most popular non OP/ED track from Toradora, I personally find Yasashisa no Ashiota and it's string/piano alternate version much more emotional.
Because of how it plays in the series, and what's going on around it, I always tend to think of it series' love theme, or the theme of Ryuuji and Taiga, and I find it that much more poignant because of it.

I LIKE Pre-parade and the others, but these two two version of the same underlying tune beat it out easily.
