Crusaders review is up.

Funnily enough, this time around he seems to be making a good lot of points which I've been making the past few days, instead of the other way around.

He still does count of a lot of points I hadn't even worked through, though, concerning the differences in characterization and how that works out for the two different continuities.

*edit* His argument of this being an in-universe movie made by Brera really makes a lot of sense.

Same here. Perhaps you should go for the 720p. Or even the DVD rip might work well. You can take the subs from the 1080p and join it with the 720p or visa-verse.

Me, I converted my 1080p down to 640x480 because my laptop hates 720p whilst editing in Sony Vegas.

I put the subs as a separate file (subtitles.ass) so I can use the .avi file in my editing software. I'm an editor, so I could help you a bit on codecs or conversion if you need help. I'm a pro at it by now, been an editor for 3 years and have had many codec/conversion errors (even compression errors) and have learned from all of them. Now I'm a XVID .avi person (with 1.5 Quatinizer) and the second movie came out as 2.56GBs from the 10.6GBs. Great quality too.

I actually do. It almost died down during the ep 19-20 mark, which was the same for quite a lot of people, unsurprisingly, really, but I just fell for her movie counterpart, a direct follow up of DYRL Minmay's dramatic conversion.

That's not a nice thing to say. Movie!Ranka is a nice person ( arguably a bit too perfectly nice and therefore bland ).

I wish the series had movie ending..
I don't know, I liked the movie,but everything went too smooth and fast.
Of course series developed each character more, especially Sheryl x Alto development (when in last 6 or about 6 episodes in the series they spent a lot of time together hugging,kissing, eating, cooking together). Here I just didn't see why Alto chose Sheryl or that he even made a choice about any of 2 girls.
Maybe it's just me or anyone can explain it to me. You also say Alto is a different character here,why? I think that he stayed the same, it was just shorter time to delve into his family story etc.

And btw, what was that blue octopus-like thing that connected itself to Vajra queen. Were/was they/it Grace's gene-modified superiors/allies from Galaxy?

He was developed along different lines in the movie than in the series, the character growth emphasized in the series was truncated to develop other parts of him. I still prefer series!Alto, although movie!Alto also is fine.
