Welcome, it is good to see new meat ever now and then, and is good to know your goal tanks. Don't say you can't do much cause you aren't spending for gold (I haven't spent a dime in the game since I began), also some of us have been in the game for more than a year and still haven't been able to go pass tier 8, so no hurries (me for examle...no a good one thought)

Yay, Tier IX sale. Time to get the SU-122-54, thus ending my grind of the 2nd Soviet TD line.

Also, I suppose this Christmas will be my "try out various tier VII tanks" season. Going to see what the T-43 is like just for the lulz and get a T-34-1. And of course the Japanese line shall be grinded. I suspect these tanks will suck but dat STB-1...

T-43 is the most OP tier 7 medium ever. Check my winrate in that. I did soooo well in it it must be OP as ****ing ****.

It needs a nerf really soon or else tier 7 will become completely unplayable.

Whoever disagrees with T-43's severe OPness just need to learn to play.

And they should learn that any statistics with sample size greater than one is just worthless BS. Anecdotes banzai. The average experience can go eat **** coming out of ###s doing ____.

And sarcasm tag is for KYs. Move along.

This is what happens when you only consider the average player when balancing tanks. Russian tanks are extremely popular on the RU server, so of course the 268's winrate won't be that great. Doesn't mean it's not an excellent TD, and definitely doesn't mean the Maus is better.

NA server known issue: The sales aren't starting when they're supposed to. Or, I got up to go make my garage the size of the Ooarai school ship and noticed that the slots were still 300 gold each.

I'm trying to grind out the AMX AC 48 and RBWT by the 18th so that I can squeak by with the discount. Of course, that's still another 4 million or so without equipment, which will delay my plan to Optics/GLD all the things.

Balancing versus the average: I'd be very curious to see which tanks do well globally versus which tanks do well in the hands of players with extremely high performance numbers. Perhaps the purples might be good enough to be good at anything you give them, but there are going to be vehicles which crutch the average player a bit, but turn the good players into the hot-handed god of cops.

Or I suppose that I could just look at the NA tank performance ratings on Noobmeter and see the things that stick out from the average.

I like how you censor yourself to accurately model the average WoT forum post. The only thing missing is the red moderator text at the end.

The T-43 looks to be a Type 58 at tier 7. Poor gun, decent softstats, no armor... I think I might just make this work.

Talking in a serious manner, the T-43 could really get an overhaul (read "buff"). The chinese T-34-1 has a 100mm with glood alpha damage, T20's 90mm also has good alpha, Panther even with low alpha has a nice RoF, the Comet is faster and more agile.

The only good thing about T-43 is the Trollium armor in the turret and rear. Sometimes, even Bias Launcher 10 shots just go *ding* on you.

Acquired SU-122-54. Seems okay even with the stock gun so far, definitely a camping tank, but with enough speed to relocate quickly when needed.

Quick stock Leopard PTA and T69 verdict is that I think I'd enjoy these tanks more when I have the engine upgrade so I'm going for those first (well I have to get the tracks on the PT A first). I'm shock at the lack of gun depression on the PT A though.
