also if u use an metallic paint, u cant use any topcoat as it will ruin the finish.
hope this helps!!!
thanks, that helps alot. i always wondered how they make it metallic. ive started my hg144 00 gundam, the chest and gn drives are done. once i get some pics of the GN sword 2 and the apporiate transparent blue paint.

Tamiya actually recommends spraying Black as an undercoat themselves, i believe the reason is so that the metallic silver (or gold) has a consistent finish on the painted piece. if no undercoat is used, the finish may look darker or lighter in some areas compared to the rest.

as with using primers, i havent used them before so i couldnt tell u if they would make any difference, i painted my MG Hi-nu a few months ago using metallic silver, if u look at the silver spots, u can see that the paint is consistent and even as i applied a black spray beforehand

Are those real GN Particles!!!????I never knew they exist.Wow,I guess we're paying for that huh?

............................that 00 is beautiful. But such luxuries can only be afforded by Kings and Queens. At least Emperor/Empresses get discounts.

I think my HG 00 just became One Year Old recently.I better buy him a cake, because I'm not getting the PG anytime soon.

So it looks like this? Looks like a 'pass', phew.
I knew Bandai would take advantage of this.I'm looking forward to the manual more than the kit for any 2 Drive mention.

I always liked the color scheme more than the Susanowo,so maybe I'll give it a shot.

Question:Alright, the 00 Gundam's GN Sword II equipment has a blue crystal sensor on it right?

Well, anybody got any suggestions on what color should be used for the Trans-Am version?because there's no color guide and I have no ideas on this.

Err, those GN-Particles were likely added to the picture via photoshop, Sonic.

By the way,is that the GN-Sword III being attached to 0 Raiser?

Huh,reminds me a bit of XN Raiser......

I know its early, but I haven't seen any good poses from this PG yet, which makes me worried a bit considering how........unfortunate the 1/100 was.A shame, considering the HG was pretty great.I hope it wont dissapoint.

Still,I will be enjoying the pictures of these, that is for sure.

Looks like its attached there. I like the idea of how the 0-Raiser has equippable weapon pods... those could really up the combat capability of the 00 Raiser.

Good luck building them.PGs are really hard and stressful,I'm just getting annoyed by HGs these days, now that my schedule is tighter.

Well, its been quite some time since i've bought my first airbrush and compressor and i've finally got the time to test it out. I had an Exia lying around so might as well tried experimenting on that. This is indeed the first kit i've tried fixing the seam lines, sand, primer, paint and so on. It was a real enjoyable experience for me and i've managed to learn a few things *not to mention some heartbreaking mistakes like paint chipping, fingerprints on paint, etc...*Well, here are the pics!

Well, thats it! Comments and advice of improvements appreciated!

Nice, though keep in mind that these are CGI images and not the actual physical models. Though I like how the GN Sword III attaches to the O Raiser.

The official development blog :-

http://bandai-hobby.net/hobbyblog/pg_00raiser/

Love how they commented how the kit is to the PG Red Frame :-

> アストレイに負けず劣らずの重量級の本商品。

So it will only be a slight improvement, huh ?

Look on the bright side, the developers said "it will be as good as the Astray" and look at how the PG Astray Red Frame turns out.
