Why time bomb?
Didn't dying demon youth saved by a woman who "looks like an angel, act like an angel and speak like an angel"? He received a treasure from her, and it was passed to Emi as an lovely daughter. On the street, he meets that woman's husband, he indirectly receives another lovely daughter. He spoils her as his own child, yet she puts him through all pranks. Maybe it's the time bomb? Spoiler for spoiler?:

Well what can you expect, Japan got food stands everywhere and there so many types. Imagine New York hot dog stands famous for being the best (okay I know people from Chicago are going to berate me for that statement), there is a hotdog stand on every street on every corner of New York. Japan is the like New York (well specifically Tokyo but there are many areas that are the same), though instead they have Ramen, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, and much more. Too much competition for KFC, even Pizza Huts is not doing well, heck I check up online and a Medium at Japan cost 22 dollars with tax.

Does Maou treat Tsubasa like his own child? From what I had read, they seemed to be on good terms and Tsubasa did play some pranks. But from what I recall, the one Tsubasa refers to as her father is Hiroshi/Nord/Emi's father.

From the spoilers I've read, Lailah didn't raise Maou. She tended to his wounds, taught him things and probably lived with him for a while, but she would hardly count as his adoptive mother.
