Classic naruto, with that classic naruto music. Not bad for a filler. Never underestimate the elders! That dood what stronger then them all (save for naruto's kyuubi).

Thing im wondering is what happened to the earth element chick? She just lost after that dragon battle. Did she exhaust all her chakra? Also what nation were they from?

That was one great filler, it seemed to me an anime about ninjas (yeah, you read it well )

Old man was really taking care of the bad guys and one very hot nameless Kunoichi...

She can't resist old man's manliness and she fainted...
Nah... that fight was really breaking Naruto's laws, because water is weak against earth, but on the other hand, it's telling you that the old man was really a bad-ass ninja, because his is in a very higher level than the Iwa kunoichi... (did i say already that she was one the hottest kunoichi EVER?).

It seems to be about Kakashi getting a love interest. I am surprised they created a filler girl for Kakashi and are adding filler to his backstory since it seems he has a connection to this woman. Was this before or after Rin?

I would say post-Obito. You can see how he had Obito's eye covered by the head protector.

I haven't watched Naruto for about 15 weeks now (Got ripped on P90x during the hiatus^^)....Uh, are any of the flashback filler eps action packed and beyond $hit level and if so which ones? Again, only action packed eps (arc) if they even exist...

Oh, and for the record I thought it was ghey how Pain gave everyone their souls back...

Hahaha, not surprised by your reaction, wing. That was everyone's major problem with the arc. I've watched a fair amount of these fillers, but they're mostly them taking the piss. The first few ones do deal with some important plot elements, however, usually at the beginning of the episodes. Have you seen the council bit and the Fire Lord? Might be worth the watch.

Wait until next year to get back to canon material. And it is, oh so juicy.

Episode 184 was a decent filler in that regard IMO. Though I can't be too sure you'll like the episode unless you're a Tentan fan.

holy crap, that kunoichi had too much personality for a 2minute filler charactr, so sad she fainted from hot grandpa of death
this guy knew everyone, i bet he even knew master roshi

180 is worth checking out because it has great animation, though it's not really "action packed". The fighting scene in 186 is also pretty nice. That's about it I think.
The ending is what you want to watch if you want some good action

If it's fun filler I won't mind...but going from the titles (the worst three-legged race, WTF!) it's bound to be...painful.
This one started out average-to-boring, what with the repetition of scouting, trap setting, eating and sleeping, but after the first half it got really good. A 10/10 because old man deserves an award for most developed filler character!

At this point you really can't fault the anime for having this many fillers. After all, the manga isn't going anywhere much anyways.

and people seem to forget that fillers will be needed anyway before the end of the series, so having them now or later is the same thing. And while this may not be the best spot for fillers, you can't blame the studio for playing it safe (just look at what happened to Bleach).

First of all, there are boring fillers... and there fun fillers... this batch of fillers are quite well-done, they are fun (at least to me ). Granted, we all want to see the next chapters animated, but at least these fillers aren't like the time-skip fillers... OMG, those were horrible!.
