My my my. Our birthday, anniversary, or "Creationday" if you prefer, again already. Six years? How time does fly.

Another thread I missed, which I shouldn't have. Happy (late) creation day.
I honestly think I've struck gold finding this forum. I have witnessed the demise of couple of forums first hand after much shorter history than AnimeSuki's and looking back on my time here, about 1½ years lurking without registering and now a bit more than 9 months as a registered member, I see why AnimeSuki has been able to avoid the fate of so many other forums. Despite of the wide user base there's a real feeling of community which is a rare find, next to none flame wars and intelligent members with intriguing ideas, views and opinions. Just to name a few. My thanks for all you've given me, be that ideas, inspirations, recommendations or just interesting conversations and I hope I have and will be able to contribute my own little part to them. Actually this is the longest I've been an active member on any forum, which probably tells more about me than it does about the forums but AnimeSuki just seems to be something I can't shake off. I'm looking forward to spending many birthdays with all of you in the future. So thank you to the admin staff, moderators and all of the users for making me feel at home and making AnimeSuki such an interesting place to spend my few hours of free time. |

AnimeSuki also points out that the thread is starting to feel sleepy and asks that this be the last congratulations, so that the thread can go back to sleep until next year. If this thread doesn't get at least 11 months of sleep, it becomes cranky when Boxing Day arrives.

Good lord, this place is still up and running? I suppose it deserves praise. When I first came here animesuki basically got me through some rough times.
Good luck to all for the future of this place. It always was the classiest of fansub sites. I know, I know. Let the thread die, but I didn't want to spam anywhere else for something that just peak my amazement. Last one, honest. |

There goes another year for the forum!
The happiness of meeting new friends, the sadness of seeing others gone; It has all happened in this year that is about to end. Once again, I can feel proud of being a part of this on-line community, one that will hopefully be around for many years to come. Happy Birthday Animesuki! One day earlier but still........ Btw, I would also like to give a big thank you to all the site staff that keeps the forum running nicely!
