By the way. I re-watched the trailer of Mayuri Judgment and it kind of intereses me the first scene (the one you're seeing below). What does that place have to do with the plot? It doesn't look like Tenguu City since it has no sea... could it be another country like England?

no i dont think he's saying that. I find it funny because its SO different from the usual Shidou its like a different story. its kinda exhausing actually because it feels like your reading a totally different albiet better shidou.

To use an extreme example imagine reading an IS with a competent ichika whose better adapt with the feelings of the girls. It may be wat we've badly wanted but its not the usual ichika we've come to know and loathe. idk thats what i think.

How can you compare Shidou to Ichika? He is not dense and most of Shidou's actions throughout the LN are accomplished with team work and effort rather than shonen fights and asspulls plus this is the usual thing you would see in some fanfiction.

I don't know what that Dark Shidou from the weird fic you're mentioning is like, but there's nothing dark about this new Shidou! He's smooth as fuck, and his playboy power is over 9000.

This Shidou is really a smooth talker. And his trolling was great. But why is this chapter called King's March. Is this some kind of reference or does it just describe Shidou behaviour?

That's because the guy can only think of characters as cardbox cuts, and doesn't seems to be open to characters that are more thatn the usual cliche.

From very start, if Shidou was that selfish guy, he never be untrusted by Rastartosk to take care spirit girl.

Usual Shidou seem so noob because he hadn't not enough choices for his action. Just too kind, too sensible, and never let abandon unlucky/poor/lonely girls.

Well, Shidou used to have a normal life so he didn't really have experience to date girls and the "training" didn't help either, seriously who trains a highschool boy with dating sims to deal with mentally unstable girls with superpowers? It's like Ratatoskr was trying to get rid of him from the beginning

I think he's been doing pretty well since the begining. Here are the reasons why I think Shidou is an exception as a MC:

- Not dense
- Helpful unlike other MC
- He's pretty much conquered the girls on his own
- Reckless but brave
- Changed the world from a devasting ending (Inverse Origami)
- Doesn't hesitate when facing an enemy, even at the cost of his life

Also at the end of volume 12 he kind of had a slight character development. Good guy + character development + backstory = All you needed in a MC.
