All right chapter....we see some pairups already happening.

Matsu, Hitsu and Mayuri will be fine against their opponments. Neither the Aizen lookalike nor the Mohawk dude look too bright.

However, since Hachi's probably the second most powerful VR, I don't see Nano surviving and I see Shunsui losing another eye.

Otherwise, I hope Kubo seriously lets gives the shinigami back some of their smarts that were sadly lacking before....other than Mayuri, who looks like he's all set to parrrrrtttaaaaayyy...

2 thoughts:

1.) Kubo's really stepping up his attempts to make Aizen-look-a-like's.
2.) Mayuri looks like a boss. And Nemu just looks flat out awesome. Stay classy you two.

so far it look like is going to be a good comeback for Bleach.

As far as plot goes, she's dead. Assume she won't be coming back. That way when she doesn't, you're not any more disappointed, while if she does, you can be pleasantly surprised (while the rest of us give up what little faith we might have had left in Kubo's writing ability).

If they were there for all that time, and could just randomly bring down the walls, why didn't they just assassinate all the captains/vice captains/etc. in the night, while they were sleeping, rather than directly confronting them and risking losses?

Because then the story would be over and the publishers and author wouldn't make any more money and all the forum goers would die of despair due to not having bleach chapters to complain about how unforgivably terrible they are yet they still read them anyway.
