I still find the light blue highlights in Tsumiki's hair to be a terrible design choice but nonetheless I find myself somewhat looking forward to this, which is odd since I've long stopped being excited over these kinds of shows.

Tsumiki Height and ahoge reminds me of Konata from LS, and the style is so alike 4-komas. Then i checked and i found it was. Seems like there are quite a number of series about a group of friends and their daily lives nowadays.

Certainly as I watched Tsukimi I was thinking "short... long blue hair... good at fighting games... where have we seen a character like this before???"
But that was as far as the similarities to Konata out of Lucky Star went, as the character came across as quite different, and I get what Midonin says about being reminded of Tooru in A-Channel. The character mix I thought seemed pretty good. So yeah, it's another one of THOSE shows, but then again I like those shows, it's cute, relaxing, and funny. |

The first episode was so cute! It reminded me of Lucky Star a lot ... except ... cuter in my opinion. Also, Hime's constant nosebleeds remind me of mayrene for kuroshitsuji.
=u= gaah. I'll be keeping up with this one. It's always nice to have a cute and playful anime to go along with all the serious stuff.

In case anyone didn't know, the arcade fighting game scene is a direct reference to a famous Street Fighter match between pro players Justin Wong and Daigo. Kudos to them for knowing about that epic clutch match:

Ya know ... I thought this was adorable, quite frankly. I really like all the charas that have popped up and like the interaction between them all. And it's pleasantly silly at the same time.
Great. Best new series I have watched yet! 8/10 from me for ep 1 - yes, I really liked it that much. I liked the Hanamaru Kindergarten homage at the end too....

I have to say that was a really nice episode.
Tsumiki is just a cute character. Just cute when she's around Io and yet can snap at the teasing which some impressive power . Io is a pretty good guy and definitely showed the skills at the game center. Really it was just a nice episode all around. Will be nice to watch Io and Tsumiki especially, but they have a good group around them too.

Sometimes these kinds of shows bore me, but this was quite enjoyable and I liked both the opening and ending songs. Tsumiki was indeed super cute, and I liked the atmosphere it gave off. Wasn't expecting to say this, but I guess I'll be watching this one this season. Looking forward to the next!
