The "unrevealed stretch goal" did not actually exist and the Online Battle Race stretch goal was an improvised stretch goal in the final day put forward by Koji Imaeda.

Okay, but I wish they would do that!

They sold badly because they were on the PSP at a time when the PSP wasn't that popular.

Maybe after they actually make this game they can put that together as a spinoff.

While Beck is facing his own demons someone found the rejected Call designs and made them in secret. Angered by their rejection they have gathered to wipe out Call and take her place . It could work .

I really hope Capcom doesn't get their hands on the publishing deal.

Well it would kind of be hilariously ironic and certainly hard to sue someone for copyright when you are publishing their game . Though yeah I doubt it would ever happen.

That's what I pretty much fear would happen if the current Capcom were to lay their greasy mitts on this franchise. But I heavily doubt they'll convince Inafune to give up his new franchise so easily.....

It'd be kinda ironic considering Capcom refuses to do anything with Megaman... but when someone makes something LIKE Megaman...

Why? Isn't Inafune-sensei on bad terms with them. I hope he doesn't go through with this because if it came into fruition, this game will be nothing more than a DLC cash in.

Don't get me wrong they could potential do this right, but, this is definitely worrying.

I think we're getting too worried about this. It just came from a question of what he'd do if Capcom offered and let's face it that's never going to happen. He's just trying not to burn bridges pointlessly. Keep the door open for any publisher long as they have the best terms and it works for his game. He's not looking for it, but he's not going to instantly deny it either. Just being rather intelligent from a business point of view.

Think the title makes you think this is more than it is. Just answering a random question and not closing any doors this early in the game's development.

We're not saying he should burn the bridge. Just blow it up the second capcom tries to cross it.

And in some lighter news, it turns out that Inafune is interested in doing a collaboration between Mighty No. 9 and the upcoming Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.

Just a little bump to mention that the official site for the game is now live!

http://www.mightyno9.com/

Also, all of the backers have designated Mighty Numbers (in my case it's 5015)! Unfortunately, only backers can access the forums at the moment, but hey, at least the main page looks pretty swell so far, yeah?

Congrats on being in the first 10,000 club. So many people behind this so the Mighty Numbers are going to get pretty big by the end.

The official site going up is a nice step. Gives the supporters another place to discuss while news comes out and the process continues.

Happy to sit at Mighty No. 1254 myself.

Bumping for an update!

So the second poll for the final Call design is now underway! Unfortunately, only backers are allowed to vote this time around, though. But hey, check out these updated colored designs for the 3 Calls, anyway!

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Geez, they're cheating with that Call F model! Anyway, I guess F will get the landslide victory, but I figured I'd go with E this time around. Either way, may the best bot win!
