well while i think wendy is no high class, it can't be denied that she is strong and have sigficant battle experience. she only has 12 years but so far she : figth edolas dragon, figth master hades, has a drawn against one of the top 5 lamia scale mages, and defeated one of the strongest demons of zeref.

I thought I read it comes with four episodes of the anime. So is it not until like a month after the anime airs on tv? or has it not been stated when the first issue is?

New chapters out and its actually rather funny

Spoiler for 379:

Starts with the demons realizing face has failed. Kyoka leaves to wake their master and Minerva takes over.
Then lucy is fighting the creepy dude who absorbs magic but they beat him when lucy closes Taurus's gate and the guy has to ditch Taurus. She then pretends natsu is a spirit tricks the guy into releasing him and then natsu pounds him with stone. Surprise at the end because Master hades tells the group face isn't his real goal and that Makarov needs to activate the lights (Lumen histoire) I may have spelled the name wrong but that's it.

Can someone explain to me why the opening color page for Chapter 379 has a Titan on it and characters I don't recognize?

So we finally get to see Minerva and Erza go at it next time. Nice job by Lucy to trick him. Interesting Hades offered a piece of advice, guess he was talking about Lumen Histoire. Wonder what Maste End will look like.

Really wish they skipped over the bit with them resisting his absorption with their will... Seriously, nakama power in this series has long since gotten stale. Just skip to the part with Lucy releasing her spirits and tricking him into letting Natsu go; that was hilarious.

well... that part is probably my favorite in this chapter... "I'll eat fish with Carla" xD xD

oh.. commenting the previous side-story chapter, I think Natsu is ready to be a good father

I definitely liked this chapter. But who knew crushing him with a slab of stone was what would do him in. They should have done that earlier on, LOL

Hell, that part wasn't even really nakama power, that was Natsu telling them to concentrate on something they absolutely wouldn't give up on before they died. Natsu's was finding Igneel specifically, not generic 'for my nakama.' Lucy started out thinking about the guild and her nakama at first when trying to decide what her main motivator should be, but ended up settling on refusing to abandon her spirits to being stuck with that demon.

Also, does anyone who can do a bit of translating have the raw Japanese, because those are some pretty drastic tranlsation differences:

On one hand we have Hades saying Makarov needs to unleash the light, and another has Hades saying that this time *he* will release the light.

And on one we have Kyouka saying she'll wake up END, and in another we have her thinking that Faces failure may have something to do with something having happened to END.

Again with Erza v.s Minerva? Oh wait she called herself Neo Minerva(lol)~! For some reason I'm getting bored with this match up let's see how Neo Minerva(lol) will fight against Erza.

Lols @ Neo Minerva trying to fight Erza...cute. It's quite odd that Franmalth has enough magic to cast amaterasu formulae and completely destroy entire areas but he can't use magic against...rocks o_0

Anyway, fun and interesting chapter, IMO Purehito refers to FT's dark secret which, hopefully, Makarov will get to explaining next week. The spinoff series and FT Zero will be most epic, I can feeeeel it! Kudos to Mashima for dedicating himself to his work like that...
