It got a boost from the movie news in the previous issue, the actual show went from #8 to #2 in the anime rankings. Sheryl's rankings are the most consistent though and she's the only one who stayed strong while the show was out of the spotlight (same as how Lelouche and C.C stay high while Suzaku and Kallen drop like rocks much like Alto and Ranka did). Her last four months have been at #2, #2, #5 and this months #1.

Speaking of the SEED Movie it seems like there is some progress on it lately, Fudukas wife has recovered from cancer and is working on it or so I read somewhere.

but speaking of that scan, my friend thinks that its taking its candidates only from shows that currently airing or rerunning in japan? can anyone confirm?

Impossible since Macross, Geass, Haruhi, Kannagi, Lucky Star & SEED are on the polls.

That's terrible. Lacus is superior to Ranka (and other characters on there) in every way. She should still be on the top 10 damnit. Hopefully Fukuda will get his ass moving and give us a movie soon.

While I do like C.C., I am glad Sheryl has the top spot at the moment. She deserves it. And Lulu is still #1 so all is still right with the world.

are those not rerunning? since its sort of strange Lacus isn't there. she was 4 times the most popular female character in recent years, and it seems strange that she'll be knocked out of the rankings like that.

and yes, Sheryl deserves her top spot. just watching ep 22 over again reminds me what a great character she is.

Well, I'd preffer to see some other characters from Seed in that top 10. Never liked Lacus or Kira all that much.

Though unlike Kira, I doubt Lulu's position will stand very long. The biggest problem with Geass is actually a production one, by killing Lulu, they've pretty much destroyed any possibility for the series to continue.

remember that Lelouch maybe alive...so if they must they can...It would be a chilling sight seeing the demon emperror(Lelouch) as more demonic(immortal body...and maybe with his geass).
Back to Sheryl:she deserves it. Even tough C.C. is a more unique character but sorrily she's somehow passive.
