And..after the end of 9 school tournament the higher ups held a meeting for discuss about "what to do" with tatsuya..and some of them sugest that "Tatsuya to marry Mayumi from 7th family or marry mayumi little sister whose younger than mayumi by 1year if tatsuya think mayumi is too old"...(i read on the post here somewhere)
I don't know mayumi and tatsuya know this or not already..but if at least mayumi know about it...im reeaaaally want to know her reaction when she know about it..QAQ

I feel really bad when the supposed Chinese Apostle got killed right off the bat without being able to show off his true ability. Maybe Tatsuya's Material Burst is even more terrifying than his power is. NA even sent Lina to investigate him. I mean, if the Chinese Apostle could use magic such as Material Burst then China would already vaporize Japan. And if due to some circumstance Tatsuya were to use Material Burst on Japan, the country would be vaporized from the map for sure (along with Tatsuya ofcourse).

Obviously not all war-level magicians are the same. To be even classified as one, you need to have a highly unique magic that almost no one else has. As such, it wouldn't be surprising to know that some war-level magicians are stronger than others because not all magic are the same. In the case of Japan, they have two war level magicians- one unregistered and one registered. Even though they're the same military classification, Tatsuya's Material Burst is far more useful than the other's Deep Abyss because of Material Burst's broader application across water, land, and sky whereas Deep Abyss could only be used on the water/sea.

All this classification really means in the end is that this magician is able to strategically affect a war or political situation with its scale of power. How that power is used or how powerful it is is dependent on each war-level magician's unique ability, e.g. Deep Abyss is only useful on water AND the girl herself is physically handicapped, making it hard for her to move around to the areas needed. As such, it's highly possible that Tastuya's Material Burst could be the most destructive of all the war-level magicians. At the same time, it could be merely average in terms of destructive ability. There's not enough information on the other's abilities yet.

I mixed up this section with something else. Jumonji did suggest (and he was semi-serious) this marriage to Tatsuya because they needed a way to placate the 10 families (with the exception of Tatsuya's "Four" family). But it's wasn't done in a meeting. It was done with Jumonji and Tatsuya alone during the ceremonial dance at the end of the tournament.

I just wonder why they didn't use Deep Abyss every time China invades Japan since the only access is by the sea (aircraft not really worth it).

BTW, if Tatsuya's Material Burst was awaken in the past arc, how far could he see his target back then? I don't think anyone would realize he had THAT magic before he finally used it. But I doubt he could control the scale of damage and without Third Eye device (satellite assist camera CAD for more precision) then we would definitely vaporize if it was used where he could see the target.

As I briefly showed in the spoiler two or three posts ago, Japanese military personnel said that there are roughly 50 or so war level magicians in the world. While it's the military personnel saying this, what's actually happening is that the author is directly telling us that there are 50 war-level magicians. Later on, we know that 13 of these 50 magicians are officially registered in the public, meaning all countries know of these 13 highly dangerous magicians. In truth, there is no benefit to publicly register your war-level magician. The other countries know who the priority is. They know his or her ability. Also, that magician's personal safety is always under compromise. By comparison, someone unregistered like Tatsuya can blitz a countries' blind spot. Even after Scorch Halloween, no one outside knew Tatsuya was a war-level magician.

From what I'm aware of, that girl has serious mobility problems. And I'm not just talking about her physical mobility. Because she is such as high profile character, she is always under the scope (and the target of assassination) from other countries. If and when she moves to the location that needs to activate her Deep Abyss, the opposition could think of a counter plan or prepare a trap. As noted before, part of the problem with being a publicly registered war-level magician/apostle is that you reveal yourself to the whole world.

He did use Third Eye to measure. Here's the text.

But I'm not sure how he received it. I can't access the previous chapter and in the beginning of this chapter, we see a beserk Tatsuya slaughtering the opposing army with his Demon Right ability by decomposing any opposing soldier on site. It got to a point where Kazama had to stop Tatsuya since he was killing defenseless soldiers who already raised the white flag.

I'd second that. The way it is now, its like im watching a re-run of Regios, Tatsuya being god-like and his "friends" either getting all depressed or being all jealous or fearful and harbouring animosity towards him.

A good war will likely snap them out of their childish mentalities and throw them into the true reality. I'd like to see how many of them will break down under the pressure of war. Its funny cos usually the main leads are the douchbags/idiots in shounen, but in this LN, its the reverse, the secondary cast are the actual bastards.

I don't think any of his friends were ever jealous of his power. Most of the animosity/jealousy comes from the blooms outside his circle. Even that sorta dampens after he saves their asses later. Also, Tatsuya is nowhere near as emo as Layfon.

Well there is still a significant gap between them, like they are avoiding him, segregation to an extend. No matter what he is still an outcast in the school. But partly its Tatsuya's doing too.

Yeah Tatsuya is definitely different, Layfon is annoyingly sentimental lol. Tatsuya's cold demeanor makes him a very likeable character.

I find Layfon to be a very complicated character. His thought process and logic is so simple yet it's a bit hard to understand. He's very ruthless and will slay anyone blocking his way though. And I believe the whole world of Regios is filled with complicated characters. Nina has been manipulated the whole time and she just realized that in vol. 14 (and still, Zuellni probably said "just as plan"). Most of Heaven Blade's Successors are jerks (except a few really nice) and their thought process is liekly getting stronger and stronger without much care for anything else.

The difference in power play a large part too. Not many in Zuellni know the true extent of Layfon's power but they still rely heavily on him for the competition and fending off filth monsters.

Tatsuya and Layfon would probably act the same when it concern their important person though (Tatsuya = Miyuki while Layfon = his friends). Layfon shows to be more emotional since he cares for a LOT of people dear to him while Tatsuya has no one but Miyuki.

But hey, Layfon is really annoying. But I hate most people from Regios than I hate Layfon anyway. It's like hating an annoying character for his annoying trait while ignoring that he lives in the world full of assholes.

It benefits Japan to register the 5th family girl because it shows that they do have a deterrence measure. Keeping Tatsuya unregistered is both a strategic and safety precaution. If registered war level magicians essentially have to reveal practically everything about themselves ie. abilities how do you think the other countries would feel about Japan having Tatsuya. Imagine the other countries examining his data "So you're telling us that you have a guy who is essentially immortal unless a few things such as his own ability is used against him, can cast magic at an unbelievable rate, can disrupt others magic, using a 50mg drop of water did the damage that he did, using a 50mg drop of water did the damage that he did, using a 50mg drop of water did the damage that he did, , can revive and heal people permanently to an extent meaning any assassinations against japan's upper echelon could be averted as long the 24 hour rule is followed. I doubt japan would want the rest of the world to know this otherwise China wouldn't be the only one attacking. Heck I don't even think some of the japanese people would be comfortable. The system they have right now probably works best for them loli girl draws all the attention from assassins while tatsuya goes to work unnoticed.

But if the rest of the war-level magicians are considered able to destroy a country too, you can't help but wonder what their abilities could be. Seriously, I want to know about the poor Chinese Apostle that died as well as Lina about what their power and scale are. Tatsuya so far is so overpower the rest of the casts seem like ordinary mooks to me. To me, Tatsuya's Devil Right and Divine Left alone beat all other characters' power in term of its effect and scale by far already. No to mention he has a lot more abilities based on regeneration and disintegration that he can't use in school against combat-level magician like Masaki.

But it can also set underground water as it's target to activate the magic, cause great number of buildings on top of it to collapse.

A movement system and war-class magic "Abyss" is, a magic that subside water surface radius of several km to several ten km into a half sphere shape slope(or hole is a better word maybe?). warships that are inside the magic activation territory would slide down the sphere/slope, or even fall down. While the effect of deactivation of this magic, would cause a great wave making ships into sea trashes. For a 1km radius of abyss would make a half sphere with depth of 1 km at largest.

- "Igniter" Egory Andreivich Bezobrazoff(Russian maybe can help me with this name? ), Russian Apostle, a scientist at Soviet Science Academy. No detail about this scientist magic though.

The name Itsuwa can be written as 五輪 or 五和 . I don't know if the manga uses a different writing, but the 五 is probably a given.


BTW, Seitsuki mentioned that this series didn't even had a TVTropes page... Well, it doesn't even have a wikipedia one . I have only seen a jwiki one. There is an english wiki page but absolutely lacks any content. Literally.
