But funny that you mentioned Tamaki...marathoning through Host Club right now (again)...aaahh, how I wish they'd do a sequel.

Im on the fence on whether I want a sequel (did you ever think youd hear me say that...) mostly cuz the vols after the anime ended arent as good as the beginning chaps, story got derailed a bit, but I would like to see a proper ending since I did love how the manga ended.

I didn't know the manga is done? I haven't been following it for a while. All right, now I can marathon through it to see the ending. I'm with you on the anime in that I just want to see a proper ending to it. Well, I hear from Saotome on LJ that a drama is coming this July for Ouran. I'm not into jdrama but I may just watch it in lieu of an anime sequel. =_=

Okay, last of my "nostalgic" updates. A bunch of old drawings I did back when I was still in high school (and had more time to kill on my hands. OTL) I haven't drawn anything for years now. When I recently tried to sketch a simple face, my hands felt awfully stiff and awkward. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to get back into drawing again...feel kinda sad about it.

Anyway, most of these drawings are from Sailor Moon since that was the anime I was into at the time (it was actually my first anime). Most are also girls...funny that I prefer to use male renders in my sigs and banners but when it comes to drawing, I prefer to draw girls. I just find they're easier to draw than guys - if that makes any sense. The drawings aren't that great but I hope you have fun looking at them.

Squeezed in some time to make a Halloween banner for my thread. I'm trying gif with transparency . I know the problem you get with the edges when you do a transparent gif but I thought I'd try something different that's available on CS4. On my computer, it looks okay - you don't get that white edge around the border but the border is a bit pixelated, which can't be helped. For those with a coloured background, let me know what it looks like on your computer for the transparent gif. I really want to know how this turned out on other backgrounds. Unfortunately, I have a white background on AS so I can't really tell.

I had to upload this onto Photobucket as the file is too large for other image hosts. D: There are 5 animated items on the banner - one is pretty sneaky to spot.

I just saw these. D: I used to be very into Sailor Moon (still watching it just to finish it, I've read all the manga). Those are AMAZING. I couldn't draw like that if I tried...they're amazing and the shading/shadows look so real (well, real to the anime)! Honestly they really are fantastic...not even kidding. I'm speechless...
partly because my sailormoon fanart was never very good but mostly because of how well you drew them. Just...wow.

With some free time, I thought I would try something a little different with my sigs - explore new frontiers. Also, I'm pushing myself to practice typography more because I totally suck at it and really need the practice.






Both of these are not AS safe but if anyone wants, I can make it AS safe.

(...I just realize while creating this post that I unconsciously chose similar colour palettes for both of them. )
