I just saw episode 14... HOLY CRAP, that's a scene that's going down in anime history!* I don't want to spoil it too much, so just a few things:

Anyway, even after playing the game and knowing what was going to happen, I still couldn't say anything but, "whoa..."

#@$%ING AWESOME STUFF THIS EPISODE FOLKS!!!

Oh yeah, and a nifty tidbit, they actually played "Here Comes The Rain" (A song heard often in the Gungrave game) during this episode.

Sorry about that. If you think that's bad though, try having seen it and not having a SINGLE person to talk to about it.... ARGHHH!!! Even the Japanese website's BBS only has a few comments.

Only thing that annoys me about the show is that have to say everyone's full name. They can't just call anyone Harry, Brandon, Lee, etc.. they have to say Harry... Macdowel.. like its all dramatic.

The possibility of Brandon and Maria hooking up now is almost nil. Now its all death and destruction from here on out. I hope there is one more plot twist left.

HOLY CRAP, that's a scene that's going down in anime history!* I don't want to spoil it too much, so just a few things: Spoiler: The child is most definetely Big Daddy's. Big Daddy holds a large meeting to announce the heir to Millenion, and after looking in Harry's eyes, he quickly changes his mind and gives the honor to someone else. This of course leaves Harry very displeased. (Speaking of Harry, I've never been so freaked out by him as in this episode... brr... chills). Brandon finally dies (as if you didn't expect it...). Fans of the game will notice the scene to which I referred almost instantly.* It's almost a scene for scene remake of what was shown in the game, only SOOO much more masterfully done. Spoiler: Some months after the death of Brandon, Big Daddy decides to give the command of the syndicate to Harry. Brandon was considered a traitor (everyone seems to doubt about it, but Harry has a lot of power and influence inside Millennion already). The research of the Necro-Rise continues. It seems that Harry became more insane, he killed a man that knock a children in the front of a shop thinking that was doing something good for the children, so the children start to crying because the man was related to her, and then Harry started crying and saying the name of Brandon, showing a liitle of conscience that still remains with him. Right after that, an incident occur involving the Necro-Rise experiments, it seems that Tokioka released them and ran away... then a guy with a long gray hair and two guns appears... :P Last edited by Tanma; 2004-01-13 at 05:34.

naantje Annoyance :) Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: where the bitches at -x- Age: 38	still goosebumps from ep 14 Spoiler: the kid IS big daddy's altho i find it quite amazing a geezer like him can still produce semen rofl, and the scene where harry blows the shit out of brandon... wow.. we all knew harry would betray him but i t hink thats what makes the plot SO good.. anyway the girl in ep1 is most likely maria's.. and wow i mean wow... im still amazed :O:O:O:O:O:O i guess now well go ffw to the point where ep 1 left off by seeing how brandon got NecroRised etc.. and harry is the scariest evilist anime char ever(

Jeff_from_MD Inactive Member Join Date: Jul 2003	you know after having watching ep..14,... Spoiler: I totally understand why brandon was so bent on kicking serious ass in ep. 1. Ep.1 was fun to watch, but all I can think of now about that episode is the pain/grief brandon must've felt. Being betrayed by Harry when he was vulnerable on that elevator, and having Big Daddy and Maria prob killed off sometime after? Brandon was taken for a fool for so long, thinking he'd found a Paradise, and I think Harry whispering to brandon on the elevator about "offing the boss and returning Maria to Brandon?" That message itself was the silver bullet.
