Why lots of people love comparing School Days to Yosuga no Sora?

From the first episode of YnS people expect it to have bloody ending like School Day but (un)fortunately it is confirmed that YnS will not going to have something like that. Laugh at all the people who dropped YnS for hoping it will be like School Days.

In the game, she was. So I guess that's as official as we're going to get, no?

Thanks for the info. In the anime it was a little ambigious, but there was a good chance she was pregnant.

I have a question... Is it true that the internet meme "Nice boat" came from the delayed ending of School Days (in 2007 I think)?

Yes. Days following the delay of the School Days finale, some guy on 4Chan posted up screens of the "final episode" and some other photos of yachts and such, accompanied by the phrase, "Nice Boat." Thus, the phrase caught on, spread about the internet, became explosively well-known and the meme was born.

0verflow kinda shows they have a sense of humor when they adapted the phrase into one of their School Days OVA's, and also naming their booth at Comiket after this...

actually i believe the term "nice boat" came from the following instance:

on the day before the final episode of School Days was meant to be played in Japan on TV, there was a big event where a young girl murdered her father with an axe in kyoto.

since the murder and how the "ending of school days" were somewhat similar, the producers decided not to air the ep, but rather replace the footage with a standstill picture of a "boat." with some classical music in the background

i may be off on some facts, but hence this is where the "nice boat" meme came from

I thought that incident was caused by the girl watching Higurashi. That's why they had to take out the scene in their opening later on with a blooded hatchet. Or was there another incident similar to that?

Not entirely sure on the details on why the girl butchered her father, but all I know is that the infamous School Days episode was meant to air a day after the event.

According to the Otaku Encyclopedia, Recover's explanation seems accurate.

Hmmm, I always thought that was the reasoning for the girl killing her father. Maybe just got the wrong info.

That probably was the reason the ending got delayed, but that doesn't mean that the killing was because School Days

I think in the anime Sekai not pregnant, when Sekai stabbed Makoto, Makoto touch her stomach and say "yokatta" that means she is not pregnant

I have a question
what a story behind "Nice train end"
someone say that Nice train end is sekai ending (nice boat end is for katsura) can u spoil it to me what happen on that ending?

Nice train probably refers to Sekai's use of trains in her methods of bad endings..

Nice Train came from the PS2 and HQ versions of School Days if I'm not mistaken...

I hate to ask this but which one is better or worse? School Days' Nice Boat ending or Yosuga no Sora's Nice Train ending?

I have a question. I've seen some official pics or what seems to be being circulated showing kotonoha wearing kimono/miko clothes and wielding a katana. What chapter or volume is this in? Is it in School Days or in one of the spin-offs that shows kotonoha being a skilled swords-woman??

Is archery, kendo and whatever other martial arts (am I missing anything else) I may be missing an official canon hobby and side skill of kotonoha?
