Kazuya is a supporting MC as well as a Limiter that supports the Pandora hes paired with, though it's true because of his status that he doesn't show his badass side much but it's there at times when it's needed.

Until he learns Combative Freezing, he'll always be a supportive MC. Which, I don't mind that in of itself but, the way the author has him - it sucks.

Can you tell me how he can be too OP?. Furthermore he has no attack power. Even if he were to use [Freezing] the enemy can still move only a little bit slower. And whatever he do so far it is impossible for him to damage the lowest class of Nova.

IIRC, Kazuya's freezing does in fact have to ability to stop literally everything (Pandoras, NOVAs, etc.). At which point he then allows his partners (Lana and Stella) to move freely... the battles would be reduced to the girls simply slaughtering the NOVAs in all encounters. And while a practical solution, it doesn't do much for storytelling...

They aren't completely froze it's more the movement became sluggish as if they are inside a gelo.

Either way, anyone Kazuya allows to freely move will immediately be the fastest inside the Freezing. And if he was to completely master that ability (which will never happen)... yeah, he'd be insanely OP

Hoboy, looks like that scurrilous man is at it again. Looks like the tension between him and Chevalier is increasing, as the latter is concerned that the former is becoming too powerful. The current chairman tries to reassure his comrades, but to no avail. He then warns Gengo later about the heated discussion.

To that end, he hires both Atsuko Seiga(!!) and Scarlett Ohara(!!!!) to work for him. Can anything good come from this? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, the former Chevalier chairman is plotting to bring Gengo down, via four Mexican Pandoras from the "failure list" i.e. those who failed the psychological screening. And with West Genetics planning another dinner party, they'll be vulnerable. Not to mention Kazuya still thinks Gengo doesn't care about him, though nothing could be further from the truth. Until next time...

Any military organization which what runs genetics is not would have realized that ages ago and have had Gengo executed at worst imprisoned for life at best he has too many secrets not shared and this would make dangerous and untrustworthy.

Perhaps that's how he views Chevalier: dangerous and untrustworthy. So there's a lot of things he doesn't want Chevalier to know, i.e. Satellier, Rana, and Ticy transcending, along with the reemergence of the Legendary Pandoras. Chevalier would love to get their hands on them, so in a sense Gengo is trying to protect them by keeping them a secret from Chevalier. It seems the tension between them is growing, and could easily boil over before long. Looking forward to it.

Gengo used some "mental judo" on Atsuko i.e. if you work for me I won't turn you over to Chevalier for that "accident" during the joint training exercise. Something along those lines.

As for Scarlett, it was Atsuko who hired her after she ran into a problem with the Legendary stigmata i.e. the stigmata of the Legendary Pandoras. Scarlett met with Gengo, who promised to tell her everything in the coming days. I'd say he's playing with fire, but everything worked out when he awakened the Legendary Pandoras, so I wouldn't be surprised if he performed another miracle. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter.

I don't think as Gengo is as Gendo. He's more as Leto II Astreides, also 'the Tyrant' or 'the God Emperor' in Dune's universe.

Leto had absolute power over humanity during 3,500 years and is responsible of the stagnation of Humanity under his rule and the chaos between his death and the Scattering( a giant diaspora across the universe).
He also lead an breeding program using his sister's descendants which created people invisible for prescient as... himself.
He's the definition of a dictator and a bastard but his 'Golden Path' 's goal was to ensure that Humanity would never be exterminated or be enslaved again and it has succeded.
I think that Gengo is trying something similar.
