So I have been reading and lurking for the most part, but I felt compelled to post this so.
This is my response on the recent uprising of random/odd/insane/abnormal/weird pairings.

I suppose that this falls under crack, but rather weak crack.

Nanoha blinked at the screen. She rubbed her eyes and looked back it, hoping that something was skewing her vision.

“What the hell is this!?” She hollered, slamming her fists down against the desk.

Subaru and Teana jerked from their workstations located a few cubicles down and looked at their aghast instructor.

Subaru pushed her chair and stood up, “Is there something wrong, Nanoha-san?” she inquired.

Nanoha growled in response and motioned for the two members of the Stars team over to her work station. “Look at this, I mean look at it!” she exclaimed, pointing at the pop-up on the screen.

Subaru and Teana hesitantly peered over Nanoha’s shoulder. Teana quickly scanned the screen, “Yuunoha…Nanofate…Fignum…what are these?” she asked.

“Hey look!” Subaru poked the screen, “SubaTia, it’s like my name combined with Tea’s! Except they spelt her name wrong…”

Teana looked closer and blushed, “Why does Subaru’s name get to be on top?” she mumbled.

Nanoha shook her head, “Keep scrolling down,” she quipped, leaning back and rolling her chair a little to side so that the two forwards could get a better look at the screen.

Teana leaned against the desk, scrolling down the page. Subaru pressed herself against Teana’s back, peering over her shoulder.

“Are these…” Teana asked.

“Romantic pairing?!” Subaru exclaimed, falling against Tea.

The two pushed themselves off the desk, Teana looked as if she want to hurl and Subaru’s eye twitched slightly.

“TeaVice…” the orange headed forward jerked, her hand covering her mouth, “He is old enough to be my father!” she exclaimed.

“Me with anyone that isn’t Tea…” Subaru’s eye glazed over, a vacant look on her face. “Not Tea…not Tea…” she repeated, the idea short circuiting her brain.

A gentle wind blew past the three women as Erio and Caro walked into the office space.

“Good morning everyone!” Erio called out, waving at them.

Caro smiled and waved as well. “Oh, looks like they found the fan page of Section Six!” she commented, looking at the unmistakable web page.

“Oh…” Erio nodded, “Well at least all you guys have pairing, me and Caro-chan are always in a threesome!” he laughed.

Caro giggled and nodded, “Silly fans! They come up with some of the most wild things”

Erio laughed, “Yeah, like Vita even thinking about sex!”

Caro started to laugh out loud as well, “Or Z-zafira getting any!” she giggled.

“Ha! What about the fan group that insists that Subaru-chan is straight!” Erio cracked out, holding his sides in laughter.

Caro laughed and sputter, her eyes forming little tears, “That is the b-best”

The youngest members of Section Six walked past their elders, talking and laughing about SectionSix.com and its “Who should be dating who?” page.

Subaru turned to Nanoha, “Do I have to be even more obvious that Teana and I are more than just friends?”

“I don’t know if that is possible, Subaru-chan,” Nanoha shook her head, “I just don’t know…”

XD hahaha that was hilarious... that's exactly what I was thinking. Here's the reason I'm still watching this tread.

I disagree, this part does a little wink to the fact Subaru really acts like they are more than friends. It being a fact or not.

This idea came to me last night. There is crack involved. That also may or may not be one of the causes for the cackling that resulted after the idea manifested itself...

It was a sunny afternoon at the TSAB training grounds. Mages and non-mages lingered around the large base. For many it was not a time to be worrying about upcoming training exercises or the looming deadlines of reports. Instead the more pressing matter of what they were going to get for lunch took precedence for the moment.

"Nanoha!"

The Ace of Aces turned her attention away from the screens at the sound of her name. "Hi, Fate-chan."

"Ready for lunch?" the Enforcer asked, slowing her pace down from the jog.

"In a second. I just need to finish these configurations for this afternoon's training."

Fate couldn't help but chuckle. If there was one thing she knew about her friend it was that she was deeply involved with her work. The only thing that she could think of that would be able to pull her away would be her daughter, Vivio. Though even that required some coaxing (a.k.a. whining) from the young girl.

"And done!" the mage announced, the last monitor fading away. "Sorry to keep you waiting."

She shook her head. "No problem. Though we'll need to hurry before it gets too crowded."

As the duo stepped away from the training grounds they chatted about a range of topics. Recent assignments, boring reports, and the antics of Vivio were a few that came up.

"...and you should have seen the look on her face!"

"Oh the poor girl," Fate giggled. "I hope you weren't too hard on her."

"Well that's going to depend on what she says when I speak with her..." Her sentenced trailed off.

"Nanoha?" She turned her head to follow her friend's line of sight. Just in front of them a man both their path. He was dressed in a black suit and tie; attire not commonly seen on base. A small tube extended from his ear to near his mouth, probably an earpiece of sorts. His gaze remained fixed on them as they, too, watched him. "Who are you?"

He made no effort to respond, instead speaking into his mouthpiece. "Target sighted."

Those words did not sound friendly to the mages. Instinctively they gripped their Devices in preparation for a possible attack. Nanoha took a cautious step forward. "Who are you?"

Again he gave no response. This time he raised his right hand above his head, palm opened.

Master! Dimensional rift detected.

In the blink of an eye a blue object materialized several meters above the ground. It flew around, making a buzzing sound like some sort of insect before being caught in the man's hand. With it immobilized, they could see it was slightly larger than his hand with an oval-ish shape. The majority of it was blue with gold accents. On its front, based on how it was flying, had a pair of horns attached making it look like a beetle. The man pulled his suit open, revealing a large belt around his waist.

"Henshin!" He began to run at the group as he connected the strange object to the belt.

Hen-shin.

The center glowed brightly as what appeared to be an armored suit materialized around the man. His entire body became encased in some kind of armor with the upper body having a bulkier, silver sections. On the shoulders appeared to be a pair of black guns of some kind. The helmet was also blue with a single, large red visor in front and a small v-fin resting above it.

Emergency Barrier Jacket.

In a flash Fate had her Barrier Jacket summoned, taking a fraction of the time it normally would with Bardiche was also already in Assault Form in her hands. She raised her hand, summoning a protective barrier before their assailant could finish closing the distance. He swore and leaped back. Instead he fired several concentrated magic rounds from his guns at the obstructive barrier.

Behind the barrier, Fate gritted her teeth, pouring more magic into it to hold against the assault. "This guy is strong!"

Nanoha didn't need to be told twice. "Let's go, Raising Heart!" However her Device gave her no response, confusing the mage. "Raising Heart, summon Barrier Jacket!"

Cannot comply.

"What?! What do you mean you can't?"

Limiter restriction at maximum. Unable to generate Barrier Jacket.

Since the Cradle Incident Nanoha has had a Limiter placed on her magic under Shamal's orders in order to keep her from pushing her body to the extremes again. While she was against it, she understood why it was needed. However it had somehow been set to restrict all magic use. She didn't know how but she had the feeling their attacker had something to do with it. Even so, she had been given the ability to override her own Limiter in extreme cases, but only twice. For her this seemed like a very extreme case.

"Raising Heart, Limiter Override echo-lamba-six-two-phi!"

Cannot comply. Override codes disabled.

She felt her heart sink at those words. "What do you mean?!"

Executive Lock enabled.

The blood drained from her face. An Executive Lock could only be done by certain high-ranking officers in the TSAB. Once it was set, only they could remove it. Even her own personal override was negated under its effect. A loud explosion drew her attention. "Fate-chan!"

Her friend struggled to her feet. The constant barrage had taken its toll, shattering the barrier and knocking the blond mage back into a nearby wall. Before she could get to her feet, another barrage exploded on her, sending her tumbling across the ground.

"I would suggest you do not interfere, Captain Takamachi."

"What do you want? Why are you doing this?!" Nanoha cried out.

The armored man did not waiver in his steps towards the groaning mage. "Because it is my job to expose the truth." He fired again, this time the attack shattering the weak barrier she managed to raise but it was not enough to absorb the total attack. In desperation, Nanoha lunged at the attacker, attempting to knock him off his feet. However he did not budge. An armored hand reached over and lifted her by the collar of her uniform. "I ask you again: do not interfere." In a fluid motion he tossed her aside, sending her rolling on the concrete path.

"You...bastard..." Fate struggled to her feet, using her Device to hold herself up.

"Me?" he scoffed. "I'm not the one living a lie!"

Photon Lancer.

"Fire!" Her summoned spheres launched from their positions towards their intended target.

"Tch." The armored man fired his own spread of attacks, colliding with the oncoming attack in several large explosions.

The attack created a large dust cloud, greatly reducing the visibility in the area. Fate lost track of her assailant in the dust, eyes darting from side to side in hopes of spotting him first. A sharp pain in her stomach meant that he found her first.

"The helmet isn't just for looks." He followed up the attack on the winded mage with a series of punches and kicks, sending her staggering back in pain.

"Stop it! Stop, please!" Nanoha cried out in tears.

Another kick sent her into a wall. "I guess you're right. It is time to put an end to this." He reached for the horns on his belt. "Cast off." With a flick of his wrist the horns rotated outwards 180 degrees.

Cast off.

The heavy armor on his upper body separated and were jettisoned from his body, exposing a section of lighter, blue armor underneath. Several of the segments connected with the injured Fate, sending her crumpling to the ground.

Change Stag Beetle.

He walked up to the unconscious form and lifted her by her neck. "The lie ends now."

Nanoha struggled to her feet. "No!" However the finishing blow never came. A hand caught the fist in mid-punch. Fate's head lifted up and grinned at the man. "Fate-chan!"

A knee to his lighter armored gut sent him stumbling back, losing his grip on the battered mage. "You meddling human! You shall pay with your life!" Bardiche was tossed aside and the blond mage began to change, hard, armor like sections emerging across her body.

"Fate...chan?"

The man rose to his feet. "So you finally reveal yourself, Worm!"

Nanoha stared in disbelief at what she was seeing. Where her friend once stood was now some sort of creature. Black, spiked armor covered its body from head to feet. There were no eyes that she could see or any hair at all. A large claw replaced her right hand covered with sharp, red-tipped spikes. "You shall pay for your interference...with your life!" The voice was familiar yet it was not.

They clashed again in a fury of kicks and punches. Despite the bulky appearance, the creature was agile, matching its opponent in speed and attacks. "Your lies end here!"

"Wrong, it is your life that ends!"

Then it was gone. Nanoha quickly looked around for any sign of it but found none. A cry caught her attention. She turned and saw the man being tossed around by some unseen force. He was flung into the air and then flew sideways into a nearby wall. The creature reappeared standing over the rubble.

"Pathetic human." It turned and began making its way towards the shocked mage. "One more loose end to tie up."

Nanoha scrambled back, her eyes never leaving the menacing claw. "F-fate-chan! It's me, Nanoha! Don't you remember?"

"Ha! Even now you continue to cling to that false form. You humans really are weak."

"It is you who is weak!" The creature cried out in pain as the daggers slashed through its back armor.

"You!" it cried. "I'll make sure there is nothing left when I'm done with you!" Then it vanished from sight again.

"I don't think so." He slammed his hand on a panel on the side of his belt. "Clock up!"

Clock up.

He, too vanished before her eyes. Nanoha couldn't see either of them but around her damage began to suddenly appear in the walls. Glass shattered, holes formed in the structures and rubble suddenly moved. A loud crash then drew her attention. The creature reappeared, pushing its way out of a pile of rubble but now it was covered in numerous gashes. "You..."

The armored man also reappeared. "Now it's end to end this." His hand end to his belt and a button on its front.

1-2-3.

He pulled the horns back to their original position. "Rider Kick." Then pulled them back again.

Rider Kick.

He ran and jumped towards the injured creature. From her position Nanoha could see a large amount of magic energy collecting around his outstretched foot. The flying kick connected with the creature, releasing the built-up magic into it. It cried out and violently burst into a large, blue flame. When the flames faded, there was nothing left. The man looked over the area for a moment before a monitor appeared before him.

"Sir, mission complete."

"We're deploying a cleanup crew to your location. Report back for debriefing."

The voice sounded familiar to the mage. She lifted her head and stared at the face on the screen. "Chrono...kun?"

He glanced over in her direction, his face showing no emotion. Then he turned back to the man. "That is all." The monitor vanished.

With his mission done, the man turned to leave. "Why...?" He paused and slowly turned to the fallen mage. "Why..."

"Because it had to be done."

"But she was happy! Fate-chan was happy! She never tried to hurt us!" Nanoha cried out.

"Do you know what a Worm is?" He took her silence as a no. "They are engineered creatures of war. They are able to mimic a person and copy their memories, their train of thought, their expressions to act like the original before killing them."

"But she didn't-"

"Act like that until I came? Some are programmed to do that. Some suppress their Worm nature in order to blend in and infiltrate their targets before 'awakening' to fulfill their mission. It would have only been a matter of time before she acted. Or the Worm was in control the entire time, keeping up the act."

"How long has she been a...Worm?"

He shook his head. "I can't tell you that. It might have been a few months or maybe several years. We may never know when it took your friend's place." He turned and began to walk away before pausing again. "The truth is always a hard thing to accept, especially when it's about someone close to us."

She didn't notice him leave through her tearful eyes.

As the duo stepped away from the training grounds they chatted about a range of topics. Recent assignments, boring reports, and the antics of Vivio were a few that came up.

"...and you should have seen the look on her face!"

"Oh the poor girl," Fate giggled. "I hope you weren't too hard on her."

"Well that's going to depend on what she says when I speak with her..." Her sentenced trailed off.

"Nanoha?" She turned her head to follow her friend's line of sight. Just in front of them a man both their path. He was dressed in a black suit and tie; attire not commonly seen on base. A small tube extended from his ear to near his mouth, probably an earpiece of sorts. His gaze remained fixed on them as they, too, watched him. "Who are you?"

He made no effort to respond, instead speaking into his mouthpiece. "Target sighted."

Those words did not sound friendly to the mages. Instinctively they gripped their Devices in preparation for a possible attack. Nanoha took a cautious step forward. "Who are you?"

Again he gave no response. This time he raised his right hand above his head, palm opened.

Master! Dimensional rift detected.

In the blink of an eye a blue object materialized several meters above the ground. It flew around, making a buzzing sound like some sort of insect before being caught in the man's hand. With it immobilized, they could see it was slightly larger than his hand with an oval-ish shape. The majority of it was blue with gold accents. On its front, based on how it was flying, had a pair of horns attached making it look like a beetle. The man pulled his suit open, revealing a large belt around his waist.

"Henshin!" He began to run at the group as he connected the strange object to the belt.

Hen-shin.

The center glowed brightly as what appeared to be an armored suit materialized around the man. His entire body became encased in some kind of armor with the upper body having a bulkier, silver sections. On the shoulders appeared to be a pair of black guns of some kind. The helmet was also blue with a single, large red visor in front and a small v-fin resting above it.

Emergency Barrier Jacket.

In a flash Fate had her Barrier Jacket summoned, taking a fraction of the time it normally would with Bardiche was also already in Assault Form in her hands. She raised her hand, summoning a protective barrier before their assailant could finish closing the distance. He swore and leaped back. Instead he fired several concentrated magic rounds from his guns at the obstructive barrier.

Behind the barrier, Fate gritted her teeth, pouring more magic into it to hold against the assault. "This guy is strong!"

Nanoha didn't need to be told twice. "Let's go, Raising Heart!" However her Device gave her no response, confusing the mage. "Raising Heart, summon Barrier Jacket!"

Cannot comply.

"What?! What do you mean you can't?"

Limiter restriction at maximum. Unable to generate Barrier Jacket.

Since the Cradle Incident Nanoha has had a Limiter placed on her magic under Shamal's orders in order to keep her from pushing her body to the extremes again. While she was against it, she understood why it was needed. However it had somehow been set to restrict all magic use. She didn't know how but she had the feeling their attacker had something to do with it. Even so, she had been given the ability to override her own Limiter in extreme cases, but only twice. For her this seemed like a very extreme case.

"Raising Heart, Limiter Override echo-lamba-six-two-phi!"

Cannot comply. Override codes disabled.

She felt her heart sink at those words. "What do you mean?!"

Executive Lock enabled.

The blood drained from her face. An Executive Lock could only be done by certain high-ranking officers in the TSAB. Once it was set, only they could remove it. Even her own personal override was negated under its effect. A loud explosion drew her attention. "Fate-chan!"

Her friend struggled to her feet. The constant barrage had taken its toll, shattering the barrier and knocking the blond mage back into a nearby wall. Before she could get to her feet, another barrage exploded on her, sending her tumbling across the ground.

"I would suggest you do not interfere, Captain Takamachi."

"What do you want? Why are you doing this?!" Nanoha cried out.

The armored man did not waiver in his steps towards the groaning mage. "Because it is my job to expose the truth." He fired again, this time the attack shattering the weak barrier she managed to raise but it was not enough to absorb the total attack. In desperation, Nanoha lunged at the attacker, attempting to knock him off his feet. However he did not budge. An armored hand reached over and lifted her by the collar of her uniform. "I ask you again: do not interfere." In a fluid motion he tossed her aside, sending her rolling on the concrete path.

"You...bastard..." Fate struggled to her feet, using her Device to hold herself up.

"Me?" he scoffed. "I'm not the one living a lie!"

Photon Lancer.

"Fire!" Her summoned spheres launched from their positions towards their intended target.

"Tch." The armored man fired his own spread of attacks, colliding with the oncoming attack in several large explosions.

The attack created a large dust cloud, greatly reducing the visibility in the area. Fate lost track of her assailant in the dust, eyes darting from side to side in hopes of spotting him first. A sharp pain in her stomach meant that he found her first.

"The helmet isn't just for looks." He followed up the attack on the winded mage with a series of punches and kicks, sending her staggering back in pain.

"Stop it! Stop, please!" Nanoha cried out in tears.

Another kick sent her into a wall. "I guess you're right. It is time to put an end to this." He reached for the horns on his belt. "Cast off." With a flick of his wrist the horns rotated outwards 180 degrees.

Cast off.

The heavy armor on his upper body separated and were jettisoned from his body, exposing a section of lighter, blue armor underneath. Several of the segments connected with the injured Fate, sending her crumpling to the ground.

Change Beetle.

He walked up to the unconscious form and lifted her by her neck. "The lie ends now."

Nanoha struggled to her feet. "No!" However the finishing blow never came. A hand caught the fist in mid-punch. Fate's head lifted up and grinned at the man. "Fate-chan!"

A knee to his lighter armored gut sent him stumbling back, losing his grip on the battered mage. "You meddling human! You shall pay with your life!" Bardiche was tossed aside and the blond mage began to change, hard, armor like sections emerging across her body.

"Fate...chan?"

The man rose to his feet. "So you finally reveal yourself, Worm!"

Nanoha stared in disbelief at what she was seeing. Where her friend once stood was now some sort of creature. Black, spiked armor covered its body from head to feet. There were no eyes that she could see or any hair at all. A large claw replaced her right hand covered with sharp, red-tipped spikes. "You shall pay for your interference...with your life!" The voice was familiar yet it was not.

They clashed again in a fury of kicks and punches. Despite the bulky appearance, the creature was agile, matching its opponent in speed and attacks. "Your lies end here!"

"Wrong, it is your life that ends!"

Then it was gone. Nanoha quickly looked around for any sign of it but found none. A cry caught her attention. She turned and saw the man being tossed around by some unseen force. He was flung into the air and then flew sideways into a nearby wall. The creature reappeared standing over the rubble.

"Pathetic human." It turned and began making its way towards the shocked mage. "One more loose end to tie up."

Nanoha scrambled back, her eyes never leaving the menacing claw. "F-fate-chan! It's me, Nanoha! Don't you remember?"

"Ha! Even now you continue to cling to that false form. You humans really are weak."

"It is you who is weak!" The creature cried out in pain as the daggers slashed through its back armor.

"You!" it cried. "I'll make sure there is nothing left when I'm done with you!" Then it vanished from sight again.

"I don't think so." He slammed his hand on a panel on the side of his belt. "Clock up!"

Clock up.

He, too vanished before her eyes. Nanoha couldn't see either of them but around her damage began to suddenly appear in the walls. Glass shattered, holes formed in the structures and rubble suddenly moved. A loud crash then drew her attention. The creature reappeared, pushing its way out of a pile of rubble but now it was covered in numerous gashes. "You..."

The armored man also reappeared. "Now it's end to end this." His hand end to his belt and a button on its front.

1-2-3.

He pulled the horns back to their original position. "Rider Kick." Then pulled them back again.

Rider Kick.

He ran and jumped towards the injured creature. From her position Nanoha could see a large amount of magic energy collecting around his outstretched foot. The flying kick connected with the creature, releasing the built-up magic into it. It cried out and violently burst into a large, blue flame. When the flames faded, there was nothing left. The man looked over the area for a moment before a monitor appeared before him.

"Sir, mission complete."

"We're deploying a cleanup crew to your location. Report back for debriefing."

The voice sounded familiar to the mage. She lifted her head and stared at the face on the screen. "Chrono...kun?"

He glanced over in her direction, his face showing no emotion. Then he turned back to the man. "That is all." The monitor vanished.

With his mission done, the man turned to leave. "Why...?" He paused and slowly turned to the fallen mage. "Why..."

"Because it had to be done."

"But she was happy! Fate-chan was happy! She never tried to hurt us!" Nanoha cried out.

"Do you know what a Worm is?" He took her silence as a no. "They are engineered creatures of war. They are able to mimic a person and copy their memories, their train of thought, their expressions to act like the original before killing them."

"But she didn't-"

"Act like that until I came? Some are programmed to do that. Some suppress their Worm nature in order to blend in and infiltrate their targets before 'awakening' to fulfill their mission. It would have only been a matter of time before she acted. Or the Worm was in control the entire time, keeping up the act."

"How long has she been a...Worm?"

He shook his head. "I can't tell you that. It might have been a few months or maybe several years. We may never know when it took your friend's place." He turned and began to walk away before pausing again. "The truth is always a hard thing to accept, especially when it's about someone close to us."

She didn't notice him leave through her tearful eyes.

Just out of curiosity was Worm!Fate providing the mana to sustain Arf or was Arf killed prior to this story? If she was killed was she also replaced by a Worm?

I think it would have made more sense to base Chrono around TheBee due to the fact he's working in an official capacity. Also, I think Raising Heart's responses made her sound like a Storage Device rather then an Intelligent Device. However, I think that story was pretty good over all.

This is kind of a 1-shot not connected with anything yet. It's really what I had in mind when I drew the two illustrations over image thread...

Spoiler for Arisa beating the dense out of Nanoha:

Arisa has realized something.

There remain no single person next to Nanoha that is willing to better their relationship with her with their fists.

Looking at Shari frantically running across the halls, Arisa contemplates.

I like Nanoha. I liked her as a person since that time in grade schools, and I've seen things from her that few others might have ever known. She is the kind of person that would reach out to others at blatant disregard for her own safe being while being incredibly dense to what others might feel about her actions. Merely telling her not to do something is never good enough... but what kind of fists are needed to punch the dense out of the 'white devil'?


No matter how much disparity in combat skills exist between Arisa and... well, Arisa and anyone that is remotely connected to Nanoha, she finds that there is no one willing, let along able, to oppose Nanoha in meaningful fashion. Nanoha is at full discretion and in command at this moment and no mere word from anyone can convince Nanoha about not heading out to take matters into her own hands. The worst part is that Nanoha has struck fear in the eyes of her proteges... with all of these people surrounding Nanoha trapped in uniform and cannot assault an officer, there seems little choice left for the blonde that, now with her hair grown, resemble the person that forced the White Devil into her first strike years ago.


As Arisa runs into her room, she phones Suzuka and asks that she contact Hayate and Fate immediately. As Arisa races, that somewhat explosive temper of hers that would've ruled her during the teen years now are refined to channel her own strength, what little of it. Unlike others, she cannot afford to let her own mind comprehend this reckless act as she goes to attempt just such a thing.


Moments later, Arisa emerges from a door leading to the hallway where Nanoha is ready to head to jump-off point, blocking her path. The reverberation from her creaking the door open can be heard across the enormous space as it echoes about.

Everyone else is surprised.


"NANOHA..."

Arisa calls out to the White Devil.

The crowd nearby wonder who this uninvited person is.

"Arisa-chan, MOVE." Arisa is unfazed by the candor of Nanoha. "I am here to beat the dense out of somebody."

Raising Heart activates the moment Arisa assumes her stance over the entrance to the hanger, armed with a bokken stretching more than 5 feet in length. There is nothing more needed to be said on both sides.

"Raising Heart, Mode Release..."

As if on cue, Arisa retreats and swings her body to the right of the gate, protecting her right flank with the wall and aim herself at the gate.

Arisa smiled. She knows that the demon of Uminari is coming.





Both Fate and Hayate scramble from their quarters and are in a frenzy, as they ready teleportation spells in order to get to the scene of the action. Suzuka had given the two of them warning that Arisa might try something to stall if not stop Nanoha. Teana is racing behind Fate since Hayate grabbed her along after having overheard Suzuka's warning.




The sound of bokken being swung against the air as it greets the incoming projectiles masmerized the observers across the hallway.

In the massive hanger, the great length of this wooden stick, perhaps made to represent the famed horse-killing sword of ere, poses no restriction to its user as it ably moves about and countering the pink shots. On the other side, Nanoha does not seem to be acting as instructor would to the recruits, rather suggesting that she is facing a live-fire scenario.

"...bind.."

Nanoha whispers this while Arisa notices entanglement of one of her leg, perhaps due to evading instead of destroying one of the many shots. Without giving it too much thought, she slices the bind with this wooden Odachi and tears that bind, while damaging her dress and giving Raising Heart an opening to take a stab at her. This issue of clumsiness is partly why Katana are not even 3 feet in length.

Arisa, after freeing herself, managed to evade, but only just. Her face got nicked by the golden spear of light. It would seem that the times spent at Takamachi Dojo for fun aren't just good for workout after all.

It's been some of the longest minutes for Arisa.

Arisa's self-control is tested as she contends with a feeling of dread over what is a flying tank. This is a far cry from that grade 1 girl who slapped her in defense of Suzuka.

Comparing to the conditions of touching Nanoha to score a win, Arisa faces the considerably daunting task of downing the Ace of Aces... or to survive long enough. She is not oblivious to the fact that her bokken won't survive in a prolonged duel and that many have failed to land even one blow at this formidable opponent. She has to give as much time as possible to Suzuka, perhaps exceeding the 5-minute window that Nanoha gives her students to land a hit on her to even have a hope of getting reinforcement.

Arisa counters a devastating blow from RH and the bokken rattles. She quickly breaks off and puts it in reverse grip as she prepares to use the extended reach of the bokken to stave Nanoha off.

Nanoha charges through the door once more, and this time, Arisa was hit directly over her arm by Nanoha's shots as she perries RH, prompting her to drop the bokken and allowing the White Devil access to the hanger.


Arisa clenches her fists right after that and resorts and lets go a primal battle cry. She beats Nanoha's right hand, being her weaker hand of the two.

RH is dropped as the hit connects. RH shredded away Arisa's own cardigan however in the process of charging in and disarming Nanoha.



Had this been an academic exercise, Arisa would've clinched a citation.
But here, all that is coming is a brawl.


Finally, Arisa lets her primal rages loose, all 20 odd years of it.

With blood coming out of her left cheek, Arisa continues the melee.

"Why are you so stupid after having been leading people for these years?"

"Augh."

Arisa manages to connect a blow over Nanoha's old wound, taking out the wind from the White Devil.

"Why do you act macho!"

At that moment, Arisa is hurled some 4 feet into the air and crashes on the ground due to Nanoha rebounding with a point-blank shot.

As Nanoha charges in however, Arisa regains control of her body and rolls off to the left, and trips Nanoha. That in itself is a remarkable feat.


A fallen Nanoha then stares straight up at a fuming Arisa sitting atop her stomach.

"You are an idiot! Because you don't want others to get hurt, you end up hurting more people than you think! Unforgivable... Clench your teeth, Nanoha!"





"STOP, Suzuka!"

Hayate's call comes too late. Out of nowhere, a wind gushed by and suddenly Arisa is pulled away by Suzuka clad in leasure attire. While Nanoha staggers and heads to recover RH however, Fate comes in to hold down the ace.


"Roarrrrr!"

The noise Arisa makes stunned Teana completely. It was almost maddening.



"Dimwit! Idiot! All you do is marching off when you think it's ok. Dumbass Dumbass Dumbass Dumbass!"
"I'm alright with being a dumbass. You're just being selfish!" Nanoha angrily retorts.
"At least that's better than a rambo such as you! Say it! If you are worried about how dangerous things are, just say it! Say it!"
"Shutup!"

Nanoha tries to kick herself free of Fate, but she ends up merely letting a shoe fly straight into Arisa's face.

"You... Arisa, what do you know? What do you know about me? Can I really just cry and merely ask for help? My job is to be that help! Did you really think that I don't care for the consequences..."

"What do you think my job is! I want to act macho on the job, but in the end..."

Arisa cries. Nanoha looks visibly upset.

"If I ask for help and more dumbasses like me follow me, they will all have to live with the consequences! I ... can't let them do that..."

Nanoha then let her tears fly.
