I'd need some recommendations for something similar to Elfen Lied.

There isn't any thing that is too similar to it, its pretty unique. But I think Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai is kind of similar in the characters, not much else. Although Elfen Lied is much better IMO.

Hey, tx for the suggestions. I just watched Higurashi today for the first time (before making this thread) and didn't really liked it.

What did you like about Elfen Lied? Thats the most important factor. No animes are exactly the same.

Yea kinda hard to give suggestion on shows that are like EF. It's in it own little world I say. How about givng Claymore and Sola a try. There are lots of good shows out there. I wouldn't recommend School Days for personal reasons.

Sola would be a great match and quite similar to Elfen Lied. I would also suggest gantz and deathnote for horror.

I watched Claymore only a couple days ago and liked it, I will give Sola a try.

Lol I don't know what I liked about it, I just liked it lol. Well I watched a couple of shows this past week, would it help if I listed the ones I liked and the ones I didn't?

School days, at least to me, isn't really close to EF. School days has a disgust factor for the main character, and the overall plot diminishes as the story goes on. I became pretty disgusted of the series. It does get props for being pretty unique.

I'm pretty surprised that anyone has given you recommendations. Honestly, I don't know what to recommend to you unless you say what you liked about EF. I don't even think Sola is even close to EF in terms of characteristics.

If you want nipples ripped off by bare hands, try Shigurui. It's more shocking than Elfen Lied.

That's a nice one, I just learned about the existance of the anime 1 day ago (while looking at that thread: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=46291)

I didn't even knew they did an anime on that one until 1 day ago, but I did started reading the first volume of the manga way back in February 2006, I REALLY liked it ALOT. I am waiting for more volume of the manga to get release until starting reading more. Is the anime being fansubbed?

There's so many anime so even I watch mine pretty fast XD. I speed watch the ones that are not golden. Each episode becomes 7 minutes long instead of 17-20ish. Whenever I have anime sprees I tend to watch several full series within a day or two.

yea. Search for it in TokyoTosho. AE & Saizen is doing it. Release is only up to ep.6 though. 7-12 on the way (according to them)

Spoiler for School Days: The main character is essentially a playboy, even though he isn't really, which perplexes me. He suddenly gets a girl, then suddenly EVERY girl in the anime wants to do him. It even gets to the point where three random girls are like "OooOo I wonder how he is in bed," and they all go to his house and try him out. He basically has his way with every girl and then throws them away. That's what disugsted me.
