You are the man! I've been trying to build Lego VF-1's and image 4 plus some of the resources I already have gave me exactly what I needed to know as far as where the to position the arms/legs and how they work/transform. Thanks ^_^

Misa was the helmsman for the SDF-1 and part of the love triangle together with Ichijou and Minmei.

i was really impressed by the movie when i saw it for the first time, it's 24 years old now and the graphic quality is still awesome.
this screenshot proves it well.
misa's design shows well mr mikimoto's improvement from the series to dyrl (macross was it first work, no?)

Not helmsman, more of chief tactical officer, like Cathy's role in Macross Quarter for Frontier.
