Asoiku The OVA - Family Game Night

Had to get my mind back in the mindset I had when watching - only to realize my posts are few and far between. A lot can change in those intervening months. For one, seeing dogs and cats in battle playing games where the loser gets stripped brings Dog Days to mind. Albeit, in this case it comes from a misunderstanding of Earth culture. Even Jens misunderstands it! *ding* That gives me an idea.

Kio managed to both win and lose, as did Maami and Aoi. Lots of fun and fanservice, which is to be expected. Not sure what the OP narration was. Though my favorite part of the episode was never commented on. Ichika was the narrator - diegetically. She even had a copy of the script. Little things like that make a smile cross my face.

That would mean Eris wasn't the first Catian to make first contact. Could Ichika be a human hybrid?

So what you mean basically is that the anime is a really wattered down version of the original story, plot wise, huh ?
That's a shame, really. They didn't have to focus so much on fanservice if they had enough material to have a decent plot going on.
Go figure.

I was disappointed with the OVA, the 2 women that i wanted to see topless did not go topless (the Captain and the Doctor).

I have to somewhat agree here, no Kuune service was a disappointment and guess no Itokazu-sensei service as well

Altho there was service from the rest, Jens stole the show

It was a OVA thats right up my street d(^_^)b

The entire Asobi ni Ikuyo! is spread out into 14 volumes and counting and the anime covered only about 4~5 so being watered down is somewhat a matter that can't be helped.
Ichika's actual identity was disclosed within the fore mentioned 4 volumes that had been used but I think the screen writer snipped it out since doesn't really go anywhere within the limited story telling within the anime neither does Ichika's male partner that also had a brief screen time in the show.
It's one of those show that had great potentials but was poorly initiated due to the limit in number of episodes.

The OVA was very fun. It was good to finally see an episode of this anime uncensored.

Eris really needs to stop getting her information from Kio's porn books. Wait, what am I saying? She needs to keep doing just that! I love them alien cat girls antics.

I was pleased Jens got some screentime as well. I say the Catians and Dogisians should wage war through strip mahjong (or any other game, as long as it involves stripping. I vote for strip twister!).

Ichika was the narrator all along?! I never noticed...

I checkout the light novel covers of Asobi Ni Iku Yo and I notices that there are characters that are not in the anime, when I try to find about those characters from the light novel in the Wikipedia, I can't find it anywhere and I also found out that there more information in the Japanese Wikipedia that not only there are more characters that are from the light novel but also the characters that are original in the video game that I saw in PV, more species and technology and other stuff, and it felt like why it doesn't have much more info in the English version as it has on the Japanese version and thought that most series that started either a light novel or manga should mention all characters that mentions as stories goes on that are part of the next volume chapters as well from all franchises, what I'm trying to say is that I wish that any of you would more info that is found in the Japanese Wikipedia into the English version kinda like from mayoi neko overrun and MM that both in Wikipedia has mention the characters that are in the light novel and never on the anime
