Given how the headmaster at Mahora Academy is also the head of the Kansai mages, I'm sure some of Mahora's faculty (at that time) was involved in the war as well.

Picked up volume 11 of the Del Rey series today ... brief page flip review:
Lots of nice artwork and such of the girls ... Tatsumiya and Ku-fei get a lot of "screen time". However...
either Ken A. is having trouble with frame continuity during the battle scenes *or* I just haven't gotten the knack of following manga battle scenes. They just don't seem to connect together well (like, say, in a Marvel comic battle sequence). Much as he might want to do fighting comics... his strong point is still relationship aspects. I'll reread it during the week more carefully and see if the problem was just me trying to skim something I shouldn't have.

Ok.. its easy to say that volume 11 has probably the most reasons so far to re-read - the action was pretty much spot on for what i wanted to see, & we all know.. its way not over yet. :3

It was rather anti-climactic, though, since it's so obvious who still hasn't "done it" AND who "needs to do it" in Negi's Party!

I guess it was more the setup of the scene that surprised me than anything else - obviously she was one of (if not the) leading candidate.

Ken A. really did set this up nicely:

First, we see Kamo "hinting" at Chisame to "pucker up" in Chapter 146;
Then, we learn that the security cameras/computers in Mahora are being compromised;
and finally, activity on the Internet...

doesn't take a genius to figure out who's gonna pactio next! :lol:

I was wondering, there have been Pactio cards that came out in the Char. CDS and other stuff, does anyone know where I can find the images?

You can find pictures of all the Pactio cards that have been released with the CD's and DVD's at this site.

when i read battle scenes i seem to speed up and sometimes miss some dialogue, i get a bit carried away. I always go over battle scenes again to make sure ive read the dialogue and take some more time over it. I find quite a few battle scenes in negima are 'jumpy' (after the second read through) but its nothing major.

Does anyone here have any more information on this book here?

Looks interesting enough to get a hold of, knowing a lil' bit more about it would be nice.

hmm ... thought of something ... how casual/polite is the talk between Negi and the girls ... doesn't feel like there is any diffence when reading the del ray but as far as i know about japanese then there should be ... so ... basicly ... how much/little does the casual/polite jumps accour and how 'extreme' is they?
