Watch Simoun. All VAs are female, even for those characters supposed to be adult men (it makes sense with the plot, so don't worry ). Then again, male adults look quite feminine in general in that anime. Nevertheless, it's an awesome series, so do watch it

I haven't seen Simoun (I understood it was a yuri series, which isn't my thing, so I never picked it up--did I make a mistake?), but I just ran across another really good example: Kei Yuuki in Moyashimon.

When I started the series a while back, I took note of the VA for Yuuki being female, and, in my opinion, not really sounding like an adult male. Toward the end of the series, though, she has some moments where she does, indeed, sound quite masculine. (This is ironic, but saying why would be a spoiler). Mitsuki Saiga is her name, and she also did a very good job as Rossiu in Gurren Lagann.

If ya'll remember Mahoraba: Heartful Days.... the VA for Shiratori (the male lead) was female - Shiraishi Ryōko. She also voiced the purring voice of Kaede the "ninja girl" in the Negima series.

She's currently voicing Kappei Hiiragi in Clannad.
