Well, you're lucky to be in Bristol then, as they have one of the Forbidden Planet stores there with quite a bit of anime in. Of course, I'm sure that still doesn't compare to most of Japan.

I'm in Surrey, further East and much closer to London. I've only been to Bristol once, as one of my editors lives there and works in nearby Bath, which I go to now and then

Well, you can always order manga online if you don't find what you need in the stores.

And regarding from which part of England I come, does the former British zone of occupation of Germany count too? (OMG! The keyboard layout under WinXP just changed from German to English O_o. That can't be a coincidence

theres a HUGE forbidden planet place (bigger than the one up north) in london too ^_^ my brother went there! so i must soon 2! hehe
..i think it was forbidden planet...if it wasnt there its still a huge anime place! hehe

also theres a place in colchester which do anime! hehe. close to me and london one is close'ish hehe

not really obessed with all anime except for: slamdunk

i'm downloading at the moment torrents of prince of tennis and lord of the lodoss.. i mean... war of lodoss? or something like that.
im more obessed with playstation2 games and gamecube, my favorite are silent hills and desert storm, and whatever

silent hill is the goods! hehe. Also i own a box set of slam dunk... its all in chinese though...or i can put it in japanese but then with chinese subs...its like the last eps of it...up2 something like episode 150? i dunno but whatever its a random anime which i like! i like the reeeally anime bits in it, u kno the crazy randomness bits ^_^

I've visited London & Bath, of course. When you have an opportunity to visit Bristol, I hope we can talk about anime a lot!!

Anyway, I'm planning to visit the Forbidden Planet store in Bristol...and I hope, I can find many anime fans in this country.
