河森さんインタでブレラをシェリル警護にした理由は
アルトとシェリルが最初の戦闘後にもう一度会うと
ダラダラ話し続けてテンポが遅くなるため
ブレラが迎えに来れば無理矢理シェリル退場にさせられる！と
ついでにスパイ疑惑もはっきり見せれるという理由でした

クライマックスのシェリランのライオンデュエットで吉野さんに
「なんで前編でやっちゃうんですか！完結編はどうするんですか！」
「やりすぎでしょう」と前編に詰め込みすぎて言われたそうです
江端さんはアルトの腰のラインも女っぽく描いたそうです
ミシェル生存でみんなの愛は監督に届いたのにギリアム死亡で
私の愛は監督に届かなかったと嘆いていました
ナナセは後編でいいポジションが出来たので出るそうです

シェリルキャッチ失敗について
マクロスでは同じ事をやっちゃいけない
初代は空中落下をやってテレビシリーズでは上に吸い出されるのをやった
今回、同じ落下になる以上は何か次ぎの手をと考えた
吉野ん他スタフからお約束はやったほうがいいと言われるので
渋々やるけど代わりに必ずひとひねりするようにしているとのことでした

前編のシナリオをまとめるのは河森さんの方でなんとかするから
吉野んは完結編のシナリオよろしくね

・菅野曰：兰花歌声的力量是天生赋予的才能，Sheryl是努力再努力累积的类型
・完结篇几乎是完全的新作
・预定要使出犯规的手段(绝对是不得了的大制作作业才能完成的战斗场景，故而被搁置的idea )
・住在Island-1地上一般街道的是特权阶级、一部份与军方有关系的人、或是透过抽选被选上的市民们
・约1千万的居民中，大半是在地下居住区度日
・因此被Vajr袭击的灾害还没达到致命程度。

监督让Brera成为Sheryl护卫的理由：
Alto 与Sheryl在最初的战斗之后还会再碰面，让他们唠叨个不休的话节奏就太慢了，所以派Brera来迎接S heryl，强迫她退场。顺便让她的间谍嫌疑看起来更明确。

对于高潮的Sheryl Live的Lion双人合唱，吉野有意见，认为前拼命填鸭太过度了：
「怎么在前篇就这样！到了完结篇该怎么办！」「做得太过火了吧」
江端老师是如同女人一般描绘Alto的腰线
明明米歇尔的存活是大家向监督传达的爱，可是基利亚姆还是死亡了，我的爱没办法传达到监督那里
七濑在后篇会以很好的立场现身。

关于空中抓Sheryl失败，是因为不想与初代一模一样
初代是从空中落下，MF TV Series是往上吸出去
这次同样是落下来的话，就想要用更在这些之上的其他手法
这是吉野接受其他Staff的要求，答应说好的事

前篇的脚本是由河森那一方负责整合，完结篇的脚本则是由吉野出面「敬请关照」

Nanase is in the naval fleet, and has a connection with Ranka. She will appear in the second movie.

・完結編はほとんど完全新作
The second/final part is pretty much all new animation.

・アイランド１の地上の街並みに住んでるのは特権階級の人達や一部の軍関係者、抽選に選ばれた 市民達
・約１千万人の住民の大半は地下居住区で暮らしてる
・だからバジュラ襲撃の被害はまだ致命的じゃない
The people who live on Island 1 are of a privileged class or part of the military, and were selected by lottery. Most of these 10 million people live underground, which is why the Vajra attacks haven't (hadn't?) been fatal yet.

From Kawamori-san's interview: Brera was made Sheryl's bodyguard because the second meeting between Alto and Sheryl, after the first battle, went on forever, slowing down the tempo. Brera coming to get Sheryl enabled them to remove Sheryl from the scene 'forcibly'. Furthermore, it clearly plants the suspicion that Sheryl et al are spies.

Ebata-san (character design) lamented that, Michael's survival showed that everyone's love had reached Kawamori-san...but since Gilliam died, her love (obviously) hadn't gotten through to him...

Oh, and it looks like the DVDs might not be out for a while...a second round of cinemas will be screening it come January 16th. (Though Okinawa won't get it til at least February...)

It's funny that the first few info we get about the second movie is about Nanase... The Brera x Sheryl explaination is a relief, personally. They had no interaction at all in the series, so forcing them together in the movie would be too contrived and random.

(Why is the forum so quiet this few past days? Maybe because I don't celebrate Christmas, that's why I feel like this? )

I had the impression that Sheryl's talent was also a natural, and what she had to work harder for was only to gain her popularity.

For Sheryl, I think you could say it could have been either way. Maybe that's why they wanted to state clearly that her success was dependent mostly on her hard work.

With Ranka, it does come across as something that she just 'had'.

Since a comparison between Sheryls and Rankas singing voices results to me in a direct correlation of Sheryl = Christina Aguilera and Ranka = Britney Spears, it's no wonder to me.

Sheryls multiple octave singing voice must have taken a lot of singing practice to obtain, while Rankas more simple teeny-bopper songs are natural singing talent.

er...what's so bad about Christina? I don't listen to her much, but she does have a powerful voice that's more interesting than Britney's to listen to, at any rate.

Although I wouldn't say that listening to Nakajima Megumi is like listening to Britney either...

Voice-wise, May'n/Sheryl reminds me of a bit of Gwen Stefani (at least out of the Western artists I listen too - there aren't many), though I feel that No Doubt's songs aren't quite as 'poppy' as most of Sheryl's. As for Nakajima-san/Ranka's type of pop music...maybe Taylor Swift?

There is actually a bit more about movie 2 in the spoilers...but they seem to be things you're better off seeing for yourself...

Well, my comparison was not meant to compare personalities, but singing voices.
