Well, I wouldn't mind buying it either, depending if the quality of the new songs are any decent.

World End by FLOW is seriously one of the best OPs I have ever heard in my life, and I have watched more animes than I can remember.

If another song with that quality appears, then I would not mind purchasing it.

I can agree to that. It was an amazing opening.
Both R2 openings were amazing IMO.

Yeah, 02 was awesome as well.

Orange Range certainly did a wonderful job making the songs, Shiawase Neiro and 02.

The last ED for R2... I hated it though.

I wasn't much of a fan of any of the ED songs, and the second OP song for the first season. The rest of the tracks were great, though.

I'm pretty much the same. Never cared much for the ending songs. The 2nd opening was the worst. It sounded like a really lame version of the 4th Blood+ opening, not to mention they reused a bunch of the animation from the first opening. The 3rd opening was okay, but the two openings by FLOW were the best. As for the rest of the soundtrack, it was all pretty damn sweet.

The first OP was the best in my eyes. The fourth, while good, seemed kinda cruel with how happy and upbeat it was while everything starting going to shit the first episode it appeared in.

Ditto that. The 1st opening is definitely the best, but if you can get past the fact that the 4th opening is so inappropriately cheerful (seriously, what a hell of an opening to give us for Shirley's death) it's actually really good.

It's funny, but I've actually become more of a fan of the background music, or at least of a number of key pieces used in both seasons, than of any of the OP/ED themes in the long run. In addition, I've also started to appreciate Nakagawa's and Hitomi's work in general after this show.

Not saying that the main themes are bad though...it's interesting to point out that O2 and World End were the most visually pleasing, whereas Colors and Kaidoku Funo had essentially been clip shows that didn't really work out too well until they tweaked the animation sequences a bit a few episodes later. Hitomi no Tsubasa probably had the greatest disparity between audio quality and video content.

just wondering, i've been looking around on youtube of the ost track of a song in episode 22 of r1 (euphies massacre of the elevens) at 19:00 of the episode just after the lady saying he's the last hope they have. It also appears in episode 25 of r1 when lelouch meets cornelinia(spelling >.<??).
Anyone know the song of it and what ost it came out in??

checked the soundtracks, the song isn't on it it's another unreleased track

I'm not used to dubs, but her voice sounds like she is reading it up from a paper in one scene I saw when she tells the soldiers to kill the Japanese. I'm just not used to dubs XD we don't have them in our country anyway

aww ok, i've checked as well just wondering if i missed it out lol. Didn't quite get what you meant with the dub though

It is subjective, but most anime viewers prefer sub rather than dub, cause dubbers generally can't pronounce Jap names properly and well, truthfully, don't get paid as much.

not just with Geass this is the case with many series, a Japanese friend of mine was a total fan of the dub of Ouran Highschool D: I couldn't understand why..
