So sad...Only one couple.
I wanted to vote to Matsumoto and Gin since there is obviously something between them (and I'd like to learn more about this -_-) But I choose Rukia and Ichigo. Those two are the most canon IMO; Since the start they seems obviously THE pairing. Hinamori and Hitsugata aren't bad too...

He told Rukia that they didn't want him marrying outside the family, and he did because he loved her. She clearly loved him as well, unless you think she was a gold digger, which I highly doubt. >w< I'm sure she felt protected and truly loved by Byakuya after all she's been through and she was always thinking about Rukia and made her dying wish about her. D: I don't think that relationship was anywhere near one sided. And even though she said that, I think that more-so had to do with who she WAS as a person. Not her true unconditional feelings for him. Thats just my opinion though. |

I think she wouldn't LET herself love him back in the same amount. But that doesn't make it one sided.
If she's anything like Rukia, she probably had a hard time accepting her feelings and letting them show. Its been said that Rukia is a lot like Hisana, so I'm sure their trusting issues weren't much different. I'm sure Hisana had shown affections to Byakuya, like saying she loved him back if he were to ever say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if she felt uncomfortable or she couldn't let herself feel that way because her sister was out there alone and abandoned and she felt guilty until the last day of her life. THATS what I think she meant by that quote. Not that it was onesided. Just that she wouldn't let herself enjoy her feelings and bask in them, so she bottled them up perse. |

Yea, i was surprised how few choices there were, but i was glad the ones i wanted to vote for were there.
So sad i couldn't vote for more than one. i was about to vote for ichigo x rukia but i thought many people would vote for that pairing. So i decided to give my vote to my second choice (well not really, it's kind of my first choice too..hmm, well it's tie to the ichiruki pairing), which is what you see in my avatar.  But it not only that, other reasons why i believe they are the closest to canon: 1. They're childhood friends 2. Every time they think of each other or one think of another, their character changed as if that attitude is only reserved for each other. (sorry if i'm bad at explaining) 3. When Rangiku's around Gin, she acts like how a woman should act. Gin is able to make her become a true woman. (not like how she acts when she's around toshiro, but of course that is still a part of her personality) 4. Rangiku is the only person that is special to Gin 5. THEY LOOK PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER 6. They are similar;both are sneaky and both like to tease.  7. I think a better word for 3. is when they are together, Rangiku becomes more feminine and Gin becomes more masculine. I don't know why, but that's the vib I got out of them. @- HEROiNEx I really like your avatar; it's so cute. |

^would be interesting if the next movies includes flashbacks of Byakuya and Hisana XD
Rangiku and GIn's an interesting pairing. They'll have to face eachother one day and it makes me wonder if they'll kill eachother :P
