It's because his Djinn was female to begin with, so it's kind of expected that his Djinn Equip would have feminine traits.

Think arc is going to end in 5-10 chapters.
Next arc may focus on Kou empire and the 'split' Hakuryuu will create between Kou and Al Sarmen.

To be honest, although Hakuryu's darkness is very interesting, I only like the girl Kous we've seen. The one that encountered Aladdin first and the one that loves Sinbad. I hope we see the former again soon, I like her the best .

Hakuei have almost no reason to be there. She belongs to the South division while Kouha belongs to West division ( This Division is led by Kouen ). This is why Kouha is the vanguard general of the Magnosutatt's campaign since he's one of Kouen's trusted vassals.

About Kouha's extreme magic, it looks more like space-distorting magic than anything. Also, It's after-effect look kinda like what the gravity gun in Gantz did. ( Probably a combination of strength type and gravity type magic ).

Alibaba looks awesome with all those flames! He's like a burning Asura now.

I have the feeling that the author may be really tight in schedule and that results in the quality drop of the arts.

Kind of weird Alibaba's full djinn equip doesn't have the black gauntlets from his weapon equip.

It looks like he's actually wearing nothing more than the lower half of his outfit from Reim and his top half is covered in the same "armor" his arms have in partial djinn equip plus the mandatory bling using full djinn equip gives a person.

He has that same floating (well in Alibaba's case, flaming) sash everyone else has in full djinn equip and the rest of his djinn equip looks like its just flames cloaking his body like armor.


P.S. Alibaba also has that third eye everyone seems to get in full djinn equip.

P.S.S. I'm curious as to how Al Thamen/Sarmen will react to the developments in Magnostadt, one of Kouha's men did say they were willing to lend help to the Kou invasion force.

It looks like it isn't just feminine traits per se but he actually got physically turned female.

His gauntlets look the same in Full and Weapon equip, only difference is colour.
Someone here said that the author tried to make Alibaba look like he's enveloped in flames in 181.
Assuming that is true, the black gauntlets may be the non-active state and when activated, it changes colour and provides additional armour in form of a body coating, which has the same melting property as Amon's sword?
It's slightly weaker, if the melting has the same strength, that'd make Alibaba way too strong.

He already was a trap so I don't think he actually physically turns in to a female when using his Djinn Equip, but it just looks like that way.
