Yet again, music placement works so damn well in this very sweet ending to one hell of an arc. I was in tears for the last half of this episode. Especially Natsu and Mystogan's three rules for leaving Fairy Tail talk. I'm such a sucker for Mashima's writing.

The preview didn't hold back with the spoilers.

Um... doesn't the "Demon Lord Dragneel" smiling and shouting his farewells while floating away kind of undermine the whole point of the thing? Or was this somehow only visible to those who were in the know?

Nice job by Nady to let Natsu and the others know about the plan. Interesting that the exceeds are going as well. Does this mean Gajeel will get Lily as his cat. Can't wait for next week.

Nice thinking Natsu! Staging that fight with Jellal & taking all the blame. Saying goodbye was really nice, too. Didn't expect Exceed's would be sucked back to Earthland with them.
Awesome ending of the Edolas chapter.

Damn, that was an awesome ending to a pretty good but overall a bit too short of an arc. And to think that I was a bit on the fence on the first few episodes.

Also: damn, they sure know how to spoil virtually everything in the previews don't they? Oh and damn my curiosity that makes me view them as well.

Cant say I'm not satisfied with this week's episode, most of the scenes were done quite well. However the only downside is we did not see Lisanna in episode! oh well, wait till the next then.

Edo-Gajeel, which was not in the manga played quite an important role in this arc, kudos to those who decided to add him in.

I bet his role was another part where Mashima originally intended to add him in the manga but was cut out by his editors.

He played way too crucial a role to just be a complete filler idea, in my opinion.

quuite a good episode. I didn't expect the emotional impact to be so much more powerful than manga's. I shed a few tears in Lisana's reunion with her siblings and when she left Edolas Mira.

now next episode looks very interesting. The anime is building what hasn't been mentioned in the manga - what happens to Mystogun in Edolas?

Like maybe Romi Park for him, but heck, I don't mind the same voice. Other than that, the episode was pure tear-jerking awesomeness. Would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the fact that my housemate has the crappiest timing ever>.>. Now I gotta watch this again with my girlfriend to truly have myself a good Elfman Manly Chad cry.

I mean we've had a Lisanna focused ED for this entire arc and only in this one episode does she have actually focus on her . This would have been a pretty impressive shock if not for that ED. Thus I only plan on listening to the future OP/ED for this series. Anyways pretty huge episode overall. I would wonder about Lisanna getting to meet this very different sister from what she used to have, but appears the other Mira had this kind of personality anyways so it won't be very jarring. Shocking enough to see what happened. Seems a bit fishy that a small anima sucked her and only her up just like that. But does add some intrigue with Lisanna suddenly returning. Can definitely see the NatsuxLisanna stuff getting going soon. Not completely connected to this, but should be interesting to see how Lucy takes this in. The return of a huge part of the Fairy Tail family, but someone at the moment she doesn't have any connection to. Also with Guardian Enzo, more Lucy fanservice would be good . __________________ Anime-Evo

Chase Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007	Spoiler for Episode 95: Well, its basically the episode we've been waiting for a while. It didnt disappoint. Tho we knew how things were going to go, it didn't make the episode any less emotional. It was done very well along and it was a pretty good arc(tho i think the next episode is the last of the arc). I have no complaints about it outside of times where i thought they took a too many shortcuts animation wise even by fairy tail standards. Clarste Human Join Date: Aug 2004 Age: 37	Spoiler for 95: Honestly, I can't respect this plot twist because despite the efforts of the anime team to make it seem more natural it's still just really really contrived and Lisanna herself had practically no role in the arc itself. And, well, having Lisanna alive is actually less interesting than having her dead, in her effect on everyone else's characterization. So my latent skepticism prevented me from appreciating the emotions of the episode at all. I cried when the cats tried to save their home a few episodes ago, but for this I felt nothing. Looks like the next episode will be showing the future of Edolas? Kinda weird, considering Lucy's narration implying that we'd never know but could imagine the best. Actually showing it after all that seems like a cop out. I suppose it's an easy place to add filler though, in that it necessarily has no effect on anything else.
