Always bring a wand to a knife fight. They'll never see it coming when you turn them into newts, than burn them in fire.

In reality, Kyon shouldn't have been able to dodge that attack - not if Ryoko was putting everything into it. The fact he did meant that either Ryoko was simply playing with him at first (a distinct possibility), or that it's a SMvFL moment. Either way, it's not really a bad ass moment for me.

Aiming his gun at Haruhi's prism... yeah, that's pretty bad ass. At least for him.
Nono, Kyon reall is that badass. He is John Smith, and thus the most badas person on this world, by Haruhi's mind. By the end he will time traveling aat will, defying uber powerful enttys and fight blue gigants bare handed...

Half joking. I do think he being John Smith make him a badass normal, somehow. This being just SMvFL is more probable, however.

Ah, and I agree with Kotetsu. Knifes are more badass.

It's not just Asakura... Kyon dodges a firework aimed right at his face, too.

That boy is fast.

Just watched this week's The Adventures of Sociopath Sue and the Stockholm Syndrome Band Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya Part Deux, subbed. In this week's episode, we have:

- More Mikuru molestation cosplay!
- More Mikuru traumatization fanservice!
- More Sociopath Sue Haruhi issuing insane orders to her Stockholm Syndrome Band merry band of misfits!
- Way better animation. Loved the facial expressions, the attention to detail, and the fact that unimportant characters are actually blinking.
- We get a hint that this all just might be Kyon's fault. Hopefully we'll get a flashback to the infamous so-far omitted scene from the start of the Sighs novel. Maybe at the end of the arc.
- Loved Haruhi's enthusiastic singing. And the attention paid to her directing of Mikuru. The crowd that it drew was funny as well.
- The (intentional?) shout-out to Haruhi-chan.
- Maybe if Kyon synched his clothes to Haruhi's more often, she'd offer to pay for more stuff, like the occasional SOS-dan lunch. How he would accomplish this is an exercise left to the reader.
- Poor Mikuru. Like the droids from Star Wars, it seems to be her lot in life to suffer. At the hands of Haruhi. While Sighs II had many good "LOL IRL" moments, it's at this point I start to feel sorry for the moe-blob.

Another excellent episode.

Coming attractions!

That'd be an amusing way to end the arc, actually, since they've already done the Sighs epilogue...

It's that kid asking his mother who the strange people are, and his mom telling him not to look.

Ah. It was probably intentional, then. I don't believe it was in the novel (it was very funny, anyway)

Thanks.

Fun episode. When I saw the animation I thought for a second that was a re-run. But there were a few K-On flashes in there. The guys loading the guns was hilarious!

Dammit, Kaisos! I'm already having dreams about Umineko; must you bring it up at every opportunity? My mind is making up new mysteries for me to try and solve.

I'd say we still need them. Not everyone knows how the path to making the final product will go.

Hence why I didn't bring it up. I just got the non-spoilers out of the way.

I just want Tsuruya's histerical laughing and "zombie mode" again. That'll be the highlight of this "season" for me.

They filmed things way out of order it looks like. But then Yuki and Mikuru haven't even had a line of dialogue for the film yet. Just part of the commercials (in movie commercials I guess were filmed later), and some Mikuru action stuff. Of course they'll need to get more than one take of Mikuru using the guns. One for her firing, one for the closeup of the guns. One of Yuki deflecting the "bullets", and then the two takes for MIKURU BEEEAM!

Still would be funny if this ends with Haruhi turning on the projector.

So... let's see if I can keep this straight.

In Kaisosworld, red means "Always True", and green means "Always Insane", is that correct?

As a Canadian, I think that's kind of cool. It means that the Red-Green show is both always true, yet also always insane.

The Red Truth thing is from Umineko, actually.

I came up with the Greentext long before I played Umineko, amusingly enough... of course, Umineko has had a long-term effect on how I write.

That show isn't even Canadian.
