Whatever it resembles, I'm really digging the visual style of what we've been shown so far. I do hope it doesn't become a generic harem, as I'm more inclined to enjoy the female-centered fanservice shows myself, but either way, it looks like it'll be a feast for the eyes.

whats with all the tainted black ink in the character pictures. I know its for censorship but if it's on all the picture it just makes me think that the artist just did it while his doing this and just colored it black..... well looking forward to it but I'll be already expecting a heavy censorship on this so I would probably wait for dvd version but would still look at it and depends on the show if I can tolerate watching it.

This looks to be one of the biggest hit-or-miss anime I've encountered. It could be as great as, or possibly better than, Queen's Blade; or it could become a lame harem anime, which would be quite a tragedy considering how good the concept is and how amazing the character design is. Judging from the manga previews on the website, the show may end up being the latter situation. The inclusion of two men really messes up the Queen's Blade formula, heh.
There is that early release of the first episode at the end of August, so I guess only time will tell at this point. Last edited by Pheonix03; 2010-08-02 at 12:49. |

Well thats good for you but I don't see how that has anything to do with this series
Whether or not this series seems like it will be something or anything like Queen's Blade or Ikkitousen or whatever, I don't see why anyone should really think it would be something bad. I agree with Pheonix03 here, this show as it seems atm will most likely be very hit or miss but even so, doesn't mean it will be bad in anyway.......altho I'm sure there will be some worthy faceplaming moments

well if it's tons of fan service, I don't see it being and awful miss. Though the censorship would be awful. I bet the dvd version would sell like wild fire. Plus the story isn't really that bad.
I just remember sengoku hime while writing this. |

Very true. No matter how the show executes it's story, it's bound to have a good amount of fans.
I hope it will be popular enough to have it's own videogame, like with Queen's Blade. Or perhaps a crossover project with Queen's Blade since they're both created by Hobby Japan. |

In other news, it looks like the music will be handled by Lantis and the ED will be sung by three of the main heroines. Aoi Yuki, Minako Kotobuki and Rie Kugimiya. Kugimiya's sung plenty of times, and Kotobuki's talent is well known, but I don't know much about Aoi Yuki's singing skills. Most of what she's done so far has been part of an ensemble.
