Yup, you are right, I only looked at the best selling titles. Didn't bother to check for every release.

I'm playing through Battle Fantasia right now. It's a pretty solid fighting game and was 20 dollars well spent. It's on PSN right now, it's was released in Japan a couple of years ago on disk, but only came to america now, and the quality shows that it's not just a normal psn minigame. I will give credit to Aksys, to bring such a nice game here, even if i prefered to have the game on disc...

It resembles Rival Schools in my opinion. It's the same style, but it's also from arc system works, so you can be certain that there is good stuff.

Batman AA shipped over 2 million copies worldwide, definitely a hit. And yeah the team went to work on a sequel asap.

Wow, just wow. Demon's Souls got GoTY award from Gamespot. I never though I'd see the day that an RPG will be GoTY in any site anymore, let alone something as hardcore as Demon's Souls.

All in all, I agree. Even though I played Dragon Age: Origins more (I'm biased towards party-based play), Demon's Souls daring to be different and actually succeeding in incorporating it deserves the RPG award. Shows that gameplay can be THE story itself.

But GotY? I'm speechless.

I'll just like to say that Bayonetta is the real deal, I "acquired" the 360 PAL version and this shit is insane, Dante needs to retire, he can't compete with this, he's like Roy Jones Jr to Bayonetta's Pacquiao. Hopefully I can finish this before my holidays are over, still got the C.E on preorder, something this good needs every buyer it can get. I guess I'll download the Ps3 demo and see how big the difference is..

Except Pacquiao has never gone above welterweight and Jones Jr. has always fought middleweight and above (with a one exception being a fight at super welterweight) thus contrasting the two makes very little sense. :P

Yeah, that much is true. Though Roy has always been rather overrated in my eyes, I didn't look at the contrast from that standpoint and I apologize.

Being fair, Bayonetta is the next step up from DMC3SE. It's not like it is God of War or something.

But yes, Capcom really needs to bring some serious A+ game now that Bayonetta is out, and thoroughly kicked it's ass over the floor and put it into the gutter.

I have the opportunity of it getting Bayonetta today. Anyone know any major differences between the 360 one and the PS3 one?

PS3 imo looks SO much better but my gamerscore whoring self wants the 360 version. So I wondering if there's anything else different between both versions.

Actually, Bayonetta PS3 isn't totally unplayable. I should know as I've bought a copy on it's release date despite knowing what to expect :-

Like I said before, I have more blast with it than Uncharted 2 and Sigma 2 even with the presence of the technical flaws. Loading time is not such a big deal after you played those early SFs and KOFs on the PS1.

I don't think anyone is going to say Bayonetta sucks for the ps3 and you're better off not buying it, just when you have a 360 and a Ps3 it's silly to go with the ps3 version. Heck Ps3 Bayonetta is still getting review scores in the A mark as well as the IGN one of 8.5 or whatever, wasn't Famitsu's score 38 as well?

I agree with you on all accounts that 360 Bayonetta > PS3 Bayonetta. I'm just trying to put through that it would be a waste for those who own just a PS3 to skip the game due to the shoddy porting which, in my opinion, is being exaggerated.

And if the PS3 version of this game is profitable, it just might give Sega more reasons to polish the game for the budget re-release.

I play God Of War for the gore and easy combo, Bayonetta for the over-the-top epicness.

Even though playing action games for the story is like watching porn for the story... Bayonetta's story is alright, it's not anything amazing but I'm not going to act like God of War has an amazing story in the first place, GoW 2's story was pretty crappy anyway... and I'm not expecting much from 3 either.
