Only 18+ Japan writers and Chinese writers make their main heroines very tolerable to another heroines (although Chinese ones is all about martial arts and its endings are very trashy)

Here is a thing. There were many manga out there that trashy indecisive pretentious beta MC ended up with the main girl of the series and the usual complaint was "Another first girl trash won, why am I not surprised?" instead of "thanks god that best non-main girl didn't ended up with THAT trashy indecisive useless pretentious beta MC" or "the beta trashy indecisive walking garbage shouldn't end up with first girl or any girl in the first place".

Also, there is character development with Fuu? If you took the Quint out of the picture, he will be back to anti-social like what he did at chapter 1.

He certainly will not became suddenly riajuu, but even if quints weren't around he would still have different, more respectful and openminded attitude toward other people. That's something they taught him.

The mental gymnastics you're pulling here to defend itsuki aren't working mate

Fuu is a great MC because he's getting proper character development, something needed to make the story advance unlike other manga like TLR.

@wuhugm is right, is just how the authors do things on their works that the cliche of the main heroine happens, or you forgot about Nisekoi and Masamune-kun?

We all know who are the girls that are better than the main heroine and why, we know who are the fan favorites and we know why they have the highest chances of losing.

Also, I can't even take those popularity polls seriously. Because reasons...

Besides, I'm under an impression that Ichika is slowly slipping to the losing end as the story progresses, from the way I see it. Well, I'm sure majority of you guys here are Itsuki boys. But me, as Ninobro, I got plenty of things to back up that Nino ending would naturally make sense from the narrative perspective. Do you wish to hear? If so, please don't lynch me for what I would going to say, just take what I said with a grain of salt.

Actually I think Miku Volume should start after this one (or volume after next), this one seems like Ichika's instead. Which is perfectly fine because Miku looks more and more like time bomb, and if it's the case we should get lot of development at once.

I refer to it as Miku Volume, because the cover will be Bride Miku. And it kind of disappointing that so far it doesn't really gave Miku any edge to make that cover a reality later, while the same couldn't be said about Ichika and Nino about their bridal volumes. Just think about the expectations of the fans seeing that cover, while Takeda is the most prominent girl in the volume.

Alright, here it goes. Brace yourself.

Spoiler for Nino is likely to be the bride, with supporting hints (Read through it at your own risk):

First thing first, is the photo of Fuutarou's handbook, with Nino being the first to recognized the photo & maybe the only one who knew about his handbook. She had a thing for a blonde delinquent boy, albeit did not knew the kid was the younger Fuutarou when he was a wild blondie like his pops. Later on, she vaguely remembered she probably met that blond kid before - 5 years ago from that present timeline. Given she has a bad eye sight, maybe she did not recognized his face too well back then. Don't forget that memories can be a fleeting thing sometimes. And so by 5 years timeskip, she might have forgotten about him by chance. Many things changed as the time flies.

As for the handbook, if Nino was the only one who knew about his handbook, then it was no accident that she intended to disguised as "Rena" & took the photo from his handbook herself for her collection of memories.

Ah, yes. And by memories, noticed the perfumes turned to nail polishes in the ED in the anime? Other than just foreshadowing of 7 Goodbye arc, it not only shown that Nino wanted to keep things the same as always, but also... I noticed she's the type who has a thing for a fairy-tale kind of fantasy stuffs (such as gothic-like castle, prince charming etc.), as well as the type of a sentimental person who wants to cherish her moments & memories.

Next is wristband charm Raiha made for Fuutarou. He wore it since the beginning of the Legend that Binds arc. During that arc, it comes to play when it concerns Nino, as he did showed it to her, even when he disguised as his "alter ego" Kintarou. Just before "Kintarou" was on verge of falling from the cliff, he & Nino grabbed on the wristband & saved his life. After that, he gave his charm to Nino, which later in turn "returned" back to him when Fuu fell ills, as the quints simultaneously held his hand shortly before the countdown ended. During the 7 Goodbye arc, Nino snatched his charm & wished to see "Kintarou" again. And there she has it, her golden knight in shining armor appeared before her. Which then Nino "returned" the charm back to his "alter ego" (again... which was kinda funny). Until she caught Fuu having the same charm on his wrist & aware he & "Kintarou" might be the same person. Since then, his wristband charm was never be seen or mentioned again. But who knows? Maybe it will come to play again for the next Legend that Binds arc. It will be only a matter of time until Fuu-kun finally tell Nino the truth.

Anyway, skip to 5 years later. Fuu-kun actually wear the same wristband charm in his fateful day of marriage, and then held the bride's hand with his hand with the charm on it. For that, it gave me a strong impression that the bride could be Nino, as both him & her were bind by the wristband charm from a one fateful moment in the 1st Legend that Binds arc.

Another thing that I noticed is the "grab on" scenes. It happened 4 times so far. One during the fireworks festival, 2nd time when Fuu-kun saving Nino from drowning over his "Rena" memory, another one was Ch. 54 where both him & her looked like husband & wife & lastly was Ch. 59 where he rescued Nino from Papakano's custody, follow by the romantic bike ride in the night. Just imagine if he says "grab on" during the wedding, it could as well resonate Nino in us.

I'm not sure about the bath nudity shenanigans have to do with this, but I think I've seen this similar cliche of accidental lewding before, like Oreimo where Kyousuke accidentally groped Kirino's bust earlier on & then later Kirino end up winning in the end. The same could happen between Fuu-kun & Nino when both seen "naked" for 4 times. But the first time Fuu-kun shielded Nino from falling book might mean something.

On top of that top, adult Nino appeared to look very different from her teen self in fashion sense, as in she gave away the housewife vibes along with Miku. That could very well indicate something good must have changed her life the most in the future.

And finally, the oneshot. If you looked at the pink-haired bride's confident smile, you could tell that she look reminiscent to Nino's kind of smile.

Thus, the possibility of Nino being the bell kisser stays. Given she will not hesitate to go out her way to get what she want like a runaway train with broken brakes, she will go for a kiss anyway, even she don't give a crap about Itsuki disguise anymore. You'll be foolish for NOT taking Nino seriously enough or belittling her
