Pokemon will keep getting made until Nintendo gets tired of getting millions of dollars from the Pokemon games and near infinite merchandising that ensues. To be literal and real, that's pretty much it, or at least it will be a decade from now, if Pokemon will still exist.

I used to love the pokémon games (up to Emerald); now there are a few reasons why I am interested in new games:

1) What kind of legendaries they come up with,
2) What new ways to evolve pokémon they come up with,
3) What can they possibly do with pokémon (spinoffs like ranger),
4) Adds to Pokémon Adventures/Special.

Hard to say whether they're fake or not, while it's entirely possible that pic was photoshopped from the Zoroark silouette, I gotta say I WANT that dolphin Pokemon. =D

Grass must be some kinda animal with antlers.

Fire snake? Don't we have enough snake Pokemon already? ^^;

I can't imagine how many more Pokemon they will have when this is over... currently there is 493 Pokemon one needs to catch in total, but I probably think the number will go up by 100! Fifth Generation means only one more thing... More level grinding, aka more EV training and IV/nature breeding, but I'm more interested in what they will change in the game mechanics.

I had a feeling that was fake. My friend already got tricked by a youtube video that had fake scans showing a Delibird evo (which I would love) and a Farfetch'd Evo.

Probably isn't news to anyone but yesterday they revealed OFFICIAL silouettes of the Gen 5 starter Pokemon:

It's probably Grass, Fire and Water from left to right but I the only one I can even guess at is the right one which looks like an otter.

before these pics were released, i would have said that the starters would be a tree gecko for the grass starter, a frog-type pokemon for the water starter and a lion for the fire starter

Is it just me or has the Pokemon storyline just gotten a little ridiculous at this point? I helped my little brother play through Platinum, which was full of time-bending, all powerful deity-level Pokemon. Then I bought HeartGold and relived the old storyline which was much more 'tame,' comparatively - the legendaries were fabled beasts with great power, and Team Rocket was out to regain their influence, etc... it was a far more grounded storyline. How is this new edition, Black/White supposed to continue the storyline? It is becoming so bloated. I hope what the Nintendo exec was saying is true, this Pokemon game really needs to break the mold and try something new or this series is just going to ruin itself.

On the one on the left: Excalibur, Excalibur, from United Kingdom, I'm looking for him. I'm going to California.

Grass one looks pretty good actually. Fire pig is pretty cute. The water one is just lame though.
