Meanwhile... My M4 had been killed in the previous game by a T-28 firing, presumably, 57mm premium rounds. The first kill of this game was a long-range spotted derp blast into... a T-28. Then it got interesting. |

I'm actually really looking forward to the new Leopard, but the thought of having to revisit the VK 3002 DB again doesn't sit well with me. Oh well, at least I have all of the modules researched this time when the time comes to repurchase it.

Glorious piece of German engineering, the Leo is one of the reasons I'll get the VK 3001 DB. Of course, if they maybe put a good gun on that thing to make the grind a little more "acceptable"
@Touma Wanting to buy a tank because of an anime.................. What the hell, you know why I bought the T-34 on my third acc. |

Woo! Lowe - Mastery! It required surprisingly little XP ..
Man, this game was good but I've had a lot of losses in this thing recently. A bit streakish.. I'm finally down below 50%! I was over 60-70% (in a very very small sample) so that kind of sucks. (I was hull down behind a wreck, with a T34, T32 and a T95 all shooting at me, I spotted them all for some very nice spotting damage!)

I think I've already started to fall out of love with the Lowe .. That was quick ..
Last night really nailed it for me: A) Sniping is great for creds but vs. other roles seems to have less of an impact on win vs. loss B) Decent gun doesn't make up for the combination of being slow and having weak hull armor C) Getting hulldown to hold a lane is great .. but only when people are fools and don't bypass you completely (and then you are too slow to relocate) D) Being top tier I actually felt like a handicap to the team, leading from the front is not impossible .. but damn hard! Angling the hull makes the tracks absorb some hits but the high chance of engine fire from hull hits is absolutely awful Long story short -- I'm not sure if this thing is going to be helping my win rate going forward..

The T-34 is pretty much iconic to me, but is still is a very good tank to farm credits given the fact that the shells for the 57mm are very cheap and have good pen (and also can pen a tiger on the front aiming to weakspots without using gold!). The downside is the somewhat weak acceleration, and the fact that the back of the tank is covered with fuel. |

I've gotten several Tigers with the 57mm on the T-34. The LFP of Burning always helps.
The 57mm is substantially more accurate than anything else the T-34 can use—100% + Vent + BiA accuracy is 0.31m. The disadvantage, of course, is that the alpha is low so bad things happen if the T-34 gets caught in a position where it can't soften up a derp PzIV or Sherman at range or peek/dodge. This weekend: Well, I've already got a bunch of those, but it's good for crew training and money still. |

At least there's only three tanks on the event list that have significant derp usage, though with the StuG it's not certain.
And with the retraining costs down, I will finally have a crew for the T32, probably the T29's trained crew. Though if I double up, I can raise a fresh crew to stick in the T29 also... |
