Hi ya,

I was surfing around looking for wallpaper and found this picture that perked my interest;



I have no idea what Anime this picture is from, but I would like to know if anyone has any idea.

My mum is trying to look for anime which she doesnt know the english name of.
She watched in back in the 80s.
Hopefully someone here will know if i give a description.
Its about a young orphan boy who was adopted by some guy who used him to make money, out on the streets helping him doing circus acts etc
he also got beaten
Then a couple who didnt have any children of their own felt sorry for the boy bought him off this guy and took him home.
The father had to go out really far for building work etc but one day he was injured at work and couldnt find any other job. He then changed into a different person often getting drunk and began mistreating the little boy, hitting him etc. But the mother was still very nice to the little boy.

Then one day the father went out and sold him. When the mother realized she went out looking for the little boy...

Also the setting is kinda like an old French or London, wooden houses, rocky roads, muddy paths etc.

this is all my mum saw of the anime

any ideas? Sorry about the brief description

sorry if this is in the wrong place, anyway, once while i was in japan i woke up (jetlag) and watched some TV there was an anime on, sadly i think the part i remember happens in too many differnt animes, anyway, what i remember is it was night time (in the anime) there was a guy and a girl(think she had blond hair, short) and then the guy left
if anyone knows of an anime like that can you post the name of it here?

I am trying to figure out the title of this new series. I didn't catch the beginning, but all I saw was Makona(The cute rabbit thing) and a complete set of new characters. The main character is a young boy. The show ran from 18 to 19 on NHK Education.

i saw pics about this anime on the forums ome time ago
its a new yuuri anime, set in the future
about female humans that at a certain age have to pick their gender, dont know much about it, but i think it also involved big robots

it was from a manga that is now turned into an anime

It could also be Tsubasa. It has the white mokona, while xxxholic uses the black one, so that would be my first thought.

Thanks! Tsubasa is what it is. I didn't know Mokona seemed to be randomly used in different shows.

I guess this would be merged with Anime Identification Help.

I found a picture with some anime characters on it in some sort of Ecchi style. And I would love to know if someone know where are they from? Wich anime or something else. (Maybe we could use this topic for other "What is this Anime" problems)
