For realz. They could already do 2 more seasons with the novels already out. But i do hope that the novells never end, or rather the story. I want to keep reading FMP side stories for the end oftime. ITs just too good

I'm surprised to see Zac Efron as "a huge comic book and manga fan" O.O hehe Who knew? I wonder what he himself thought about his possible role as Sousuke. Did he think he would make a good job, or did he realize, as the manga fan he claims to be, that it would be disastrous?
But yes it's better this way. FMP doesn't need this LAM to keep on living. EDIT: Just watched the interview. It isn't very promissing, he can still be in the movie, and yes, there can still be a movie. F***! I'm not waiting till 2012 to see if a new anime season is going to be made. I want one now! |

Lol, i seriously doubt he is a "comic and manga fan" i bet at most the only things hes read is Xmen and transformers. If he trully was one, he would have tried to persuade Mandalay to stop productions or at least suggest better ppl for the roles instead of trying out himself. He is ok for a peterpan production but as a hardcore mitril mercenary he is a joke.

The problem is that i doubt there is anyone who can do the role. It has to be someone young enough to look 16, but buffed enough to play as a mercenary. Fitting that role is pretty hard. I could think of Hayami Mokomichi due to his skin color and he looks aight in black hair, but he doenst look young enough to be Sousuke.

true that is why you would have to try and find an unknown actor somewhere to play the role and then get fans to vote on who out of a bunch of people who audition would suit the role best.

Only actor I can think off that could have played a decent LAM Sousuke is a young Charlie Sheen. Did the serious military role in Platoon, the comedy in Hot Shots and can do the same intense look. To bad (or fortunatly depending on pov) he is too old now.

hey i know everyone is bummed about the LAM but hell as long as they don't trash the story and make a decent effort on the acting front i think the gain in publicity for a new series will be grater than the pain of watching.
o and thank god it won't be that efwhater is name is. edit- page top once more, you can kill my rep but you will never kill my spirit! Last edited by Full Metal Jackass; 2009-04-17 at 22:03. |

^ Si. The publicity thing is the upside. I don't mind a live action movie cuz, if it has negative feedback, it might kick Gatoh into gear and make him write to have him redeem his series. And if it has positive feedback, it might kick him into gear to make him write faster so he can collect his money faster xD
