Agreed. I like the Nanoha x Fate pairing best, but if she were to be with a boy I think she deserves better than Yuuno

I agree that it shouldn't be Yuuno. I honestly like the NxF pairing - and to think I wasn't even looking for it when I started watching the first season...

Problem is if Nanoha pairs up with a boy, who's could that even be? In the main cast the only boy is Erio, and *that's* not right. Any of the male officers revealed so far are older or don't appear to be main characters either and I'm sure the producers would get a lot of grief if they tried to shack Nanoha up with just anyone. IMO Chrono was the best bet, but they took him out of the market, maybe for a reason? Haha.

Secret lovers sounds better, in a way. But I guess the idea is that NxF will just be a whole bunch of subtext to death - therefore not making their relationship canon and leaving people to assume Nanoha is straight (or at least bi). I would be beyond shocked if they actually had one or the other admitting they had something for the another in the anime. I already thought the excessive blushing in s1 was leading up to something, but now that they're a little older it can't be played off as "they're just kids, awww cute" to the same degree.

What I wouldn't be surprised is if their relationship was covered later in the manga. Don't ask me how that works.

Thinking about it, romance would add yet another element to the story, but this show does well without that influence on the main character, or at least keeping her oblivious to it. Guess if it isn't broke, don't fix it?

On another note - upon further inspection, just how tall is Fate?? She's the tallest of the three aces, and she's almost as tall as Signum. o_O Wow...
