Well, ST Tatenashi pretty much is THE only one girl ever become a full Rep in high school days, everyone else became one after graduation.

And with extra suspension of disbelief, they DO have a reason (weapon research), it just that that they severely lack discipline training which makes it more convincing and realistic (otherwise we won't end up with Harem comedy, instead we'll have a legalized child soldier story)

First things first: Did nobody do a psyche check on these people? Any psychiatrist can tell they blow their top at the slightest provocation and maybe you need to put limits on them.

That's why I said they lack discipline.

Even the most egoistical teen will be obedient if they're motivated and disciplined enough, but then I.S. wouldn't be as funny (at least according to majority, I never laugh at any single instance I.S. weapon used for abuse)

I don't think it's discipline. Laura's a disciplined and trained soldier. Didn't stop her from beating up Rin and Cecilia.

Tatenashi seems the most disciplined, despite her attitude. Only once can I count her using her weapon for comedy, and she used it to open his door rather than attack him. Chifuyu did the same thing minus the weapon, so it's pretty minor.

Kinda ironic that ST Laura refuse to give Rin and Cecilia a beatdown, opting to finish them quickly. It was her ridiculing their effort that made Ichika blindly mad. (Their fight was less curb-stomp compared to Canon, but Laura still just as cocky)

Again, probably harem excuse.

They can go Houdini beating the crap out of other girls easily, why not beating a guy? Sexual harassment however, is definitely unjustified, and double standard came into play as well.

Laura and Tatenashi are the worst offenders in that regard. Dialogue from Ichika even implies that Laura keeps sneaking into his room.

Rin and Cecilia, on the other hand, just boggles the mind. Seriously, Maya and Chifuyu are right there when they attacked him and neither say anything despite the fact that they're teachers? They'd get fired if an officer saw them.

I forgot to change it though, and it's not like it'll happens fin the future (V5 scene is a mythology gag and take that, with Chifuyu claiming it's incredibly moronic if she did it for real)

I use it as a caricature of society in Shadow. Nobody bats an eyelash when Irish or Ichika get hammered, but they get a load of flack when they so much as yell or threaten back. This causes Irish to do an inverse world of cardboard speech saying how society's stagnated.

What martial art do you think Rin can do?

In ST she knew a little Kung Fu, Wing Chun (aka "Chain punching"), invented for female and just as effective for male.

Unlike Straightblast (The one I recommended for Irish' combat style), this one involves a lot of weak punches to stun enemies before delivering final blow.

To give you note how fast it is...

Note that because Rin is NOT accustomed, she held her breath while execute it, leading to over-exhaustion. And no, it's not good against armed enemies, you have to disarm them first.

It's extremely ironic considering her I.S. are strength type.

What about a fighting style that's just a mixture of using street fighting and acrobatics? Would that beat anybody on the cast?
